new kavanaugh sexual assault allegations

Anonymous
Interesting that Justin Fairfax is *still* in office, after having two relatively recent (comparatively speaking), highly credible rape accusations leveled against him - complete with dates, places, times, and corroborating witnesses. Hmm.

Most Democrats are totally avoiding this story because the more that comes out, the more clearly Kavanaugh is being exonerated.
Join the rest of your party and stop the nonsense. Only the really loony left are continuing to push the horrible Kavanaugh stories.

Some of us are not hung up on the sexual assault stories. Without them, he is still unfit to be on the Supreme Court.

Because he likes beer?

Because he perjured himself.
Because he attempted to rape Christine Blasey Ford,
Because he was showed serious lapses in judgment regarding keeping his pants up in college.
Because he’s an alcoholic.
Because he’s got a gambling problem.
Because he’s owned by the person or people who paid off his debt.

Brett Kavanaugh is unfit. You can keep pretending he’s some sober justice, but his little drama queen routine should have shown you he is not even if you refuse to acknowledge the rest.

Please post the proof of each of these. Actual proof.

Come on, you know very well that PP has no proof. If NYT is capable of publishing a damaging story without proof, why do you think someone like the PP would hold back with empty accusations on an anonymous forum. These people have no shame, they have no moral compass. Their goal justifies their behavior: lying is okay so long as it shows a path to their goals, and a good man can be cast as evil if he is in the way of their goals. They are a shameful bunch.

+1.

Dems have spent the best part of two years incoherent and deeply intoxicated.

I hope they become sober again. The sooner the better.

+2

It is sad to see what they have become.

You can keep insulting us. It clearly fulfills some unmet psychological need. I could go through and post some pretty hard evidence for some of the points I made - like the debt, paid off by some unknown benefactor, the fact that he is credibly accused of attempted rape, and that he perjured himself. I could do that, spending quite a bit of time in the process. But I’m not going to because you could see the canceled checks, you could watch a video of him assaulting a woman, you could overheat him at the bar bragging about lying under oath and it wouldn’t matter to you. It’s all a game to you guys and winning is the only object, even if it’s at the expense of the law, decency and the reputation of the institution. You don’t care.

You’re loud and mouthy on here, all four of you, clacking back and forth, merrily plus one-ing like it means there’s wide agreement, posting ever more inane defenses of the indefensible and cruder attacks on people who point out where you’re wrong, and you drown out sane conversation by sheer volume of stupidity.

But know this: Brett Kavanaugh is seen by most to be a horrible lemon of a person. He is unfit and you are all fools for supporting him.

This is it in a nutshell. BK supporters don't care about truth or proof. They will rationalize everything if it gets them a judge they think will do what they want. And they will shout down anyone who tries to point out the truth with insults and more lies. So sad.

And so the truth and proof here is... what, exactly? We’ll wait while you make something up.

But that one person not recalling any salient details from something that allegedly happened over 30 years ago. There is evidence that she has lied (second door, fear of flying, passing herself off as a psychologist in violation of California law, etc.) and all those she cited as present have said they have no recollection of this event, including her best friend.

It is on this one shaky allegation that PPs her are making very strong statements about BK's character. Amazing.

And, the fact that her best friend from HS doesn't believe her story. And, neither does her own father.

They are individuals who REALLY know her and her history.

This. I find it hilariously sad that liberals constantly insist Republicans lie, when it fact, liberals are experts in the art of planting fake stories and insisting they’re true - and that anyone who questions them is “morally bankrupt”. That’s exactly the phrase I would use to describe them.

Do you have any examples, because I haven't seen any on this thread?

I find it hilarious that conservatives use to care about the deficit and national security and personal integrity. Look how much they have...grown...in the last 3 years.

DP.
Here's one from a previous Kavanaugh thread....
You are morally bankrupt and we are coming to take our country back.
https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/1665/756795.page#13790402

And, another.
Like the Merrick Garland procedure? You all are morally bankrupt.
https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/3525/755157.page#13740595

These are examples using the exact words. But, I think if you read through the 57 pages of this thread, you will find similar sentiments - maybe not using the exact terminology - but the meaning is the same.

Any examples of what? Liberals lying? This entire thread is a prime example. You can’t stand that Kavanaugh is a SCJ, so you’ll stoop as low as needed to take him down, even if that requires peddling lies and unproven allegations/rumors. It’s disgusting.

This statement is hysterical.
Point out the truth? There is no evidence or truth when it comes to the accusers. They have nothing. Other than fake stories.

Just because you say this over and over doesn't make it true.
The *truth* is that you can neither confirm NOR deny the stories at this point. It's a lot of conjecture by those who support both sides.
Based on his behavior in the high school and college years and the level of drinking that has been substantiated by multiple witnesses, I'd believe he hurt someone at some time. So many guys did stuff like that back then and thought nothing of it. You cannot deny this with the wave of stories unleashed by Me, Too. Unless you are a psycho who thinks Me, Too is all lies, too. But you can't punish for it unless you can prove it in a court of law and that's that.

People like you always find ways to punish the accusers, though, over and over, even though you can't PROVE they are lying either.

OK, friend. There are just as many, if not more, people who say that Kavanaugh's behavior in HS and college was exemplary.

And... your statement in bold.... you are projecting the behavior of "so many guys" onto someone for which there is NO EVIDENCE that he did anything to hurt someone. Just because this is the era of "Me Too" does not make him guilty of anything. You are essentially finding a person guilty because other men are guilty. Do you know how ridiculous you sound?

THIS, exactly. We don’t condemn someone simply because of the misdeeds of others. Honestly, some of these posters are downright frightening.

If you want to talk liars, look no further than Brett! https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_5d82da62e4b0849d47233e56 Oh, Mr Dishonorable promised to be interviewed by the authors so long as they would write that he didn’t.

This man is such a skeezy slime bucket.

People talk "off the record" all the time.
Sorry - we simply cannot believe how the authors interpreted what he said. They have been shown to be less than candid in their reporting.

Sitting justices don't. Just more of the same from the guy who doesn’t think rules apply to him.

Talking off the record is different from saying the reporters have to affirmatively say that he did not speak to them.

You can say he declined to speak on the record, and that is literally true. You cannot say he declined to speak at all and still be telling the truth.

^ Me again: I think the reaction to think is pretty overblown and petty. I think the headlines saying Kavanaugh asked reporters to lie is literally true but misleading. I still think what he asked for would never fly. That's not how off the record works in my experience.

After the fiasco of their reporting, these two "journalists" are backpedaling mightily to re-spin he story so that they can sell books. Sure they will attack Kavanaugh and twist words to meet their need for publicity. Talk about a mother who should be ashamed of her daughter!
