| Interesting that Justin Fairfax is *still* in office, after having two relatively recent (comparatively speaking), highly credible rape accusations leveled against him - complete with dates, places, times, and corroborating witnesses. Hmm. |
And so the truth and proof here is... what, exactly? We’ll wait while you make something up. |
They are individuals who REALLY know her and her history. |
This. I find it hilariously sad that liberals constantly insist Republicans lie, when it fact, liberals are experts in the art of planting fake stories and insisting they’re true - and that anyone who questions them is “morally bankrupt”. That’s exactly the phrase I would use to describe them. |
Do you have any examples, because I haven't seen any on this thread? I find it hilarious that conservatives use to care about the deficit and national security and personal integrity. Look how much they have...grown...in the last 3 years. |
DP. Here's one from a previous Kavanaugh thread.... You are morally bankrupt and we are coming to take our country back. https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/1665/756795.page#13790402 And, another. Like the Merrick Garland procedure? You all are morally bankrupt. https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/3525/755157.page#13740595 These are examples using the exact words. But, I think if you read through the 57 pages of this thread, you will find similar sentiments - maybe not using the exact terminology - but the meaning is the same. |
Any examples of what? Liberals lying? This entire thread is a prime example. You can’t stand that Kavanaugh is a SCJ, so you’ll stoop as low as needed to take him down, even if that requires peddling lies and unproven allegations/rumors. It’s disgusting. |
THIS, exactly. We don’t condemn someone simply because of the misdeeds of others. Honestly, some of these posters are downright frightening. |
Right, they’re fact. None of us can help the fact that you guys have burnt your brains out by huffing RWNJ news. |
If you want to talk liars, look no further than Brett! https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_5d82da62e4b0849d47233e56 Oh, Mr Dishonorable promised to be interviewed by the authors so long as they would write that he didn’t. This man is such a skeezy slime bucket. |
People talk "off the record" all the time. Sorry - we simply cannot believe how the authors interpreted what he said. They have been shown to be less than candid in their reporting. |
Sitting justices don't. Just more of the same from the guy who doesn’t think rules apply to him. |
|
Talking off the record is different from saying the reporters have to affirmatively say that he did not speak to them.
You can say he declined to speak on the record, and that is literally true. You cannot say he declined to speak at all and still be telling the truth. |
^ Me again: I think the reaction to think is pretty overblown and petty. I think the headlines saying Kavanaugh asked reporters to lie is literally true but misleading. I still think what he asked for would never fly. That's not how off the record works in my experience. |
After the fiasco of their reporting, these two "journalists" are backpedaling mightily to re-spin he story so that they can sell books. Sure they will attack Kavanaugh and twist words to meet their need for publicity. Talk about a mother who should be ashamed of her daughter! Hello, Letti! |
