Didn’t she tell him not to run and that she wouldn’t support him and he did it anyway? He really comes across as a dominating control freak. Not sure she ever really loved him, he kind of just wore her down. |
She supported him at first and then about-faced. I liked this episode but don’t think you can have the kind of fight they were having without mentioning the three kids involved. |
This seems plausible. I wonder if they're ever going to bridge the gap from "Don't call me again" to them living together and getting engaged 7 years later. |
SHe supported him running. He said if she ever wants him to quit, he would quit. He did not quit. He acknowledged that he was going against the agreement. He won. |
I did not think the younger Randall was romantic. He came accross as a stalker to me. I also lost some respect for him in this episode as he comes accross as so pathetic. However I did agree with him that Beth isn’t a wallflower and can’t blame it all on him and home him solely responsible. |
Hold him* |
Aside from the sad beginning and end, this episode was hilarious. I actually laughed out loud throughout the scenes of their early life together. So funny.
Makes me sad that they are in such a lonely place now. |
Anyone notice that Beth did not have her sisters, Zoe or friends to be bridesmaids/maid of honor at her wedding to Randall? I only saw Kate
|
There was a woman who appeared to be young Zoe. It was during their vows. Which caused nod-show convo about why her and Kevin are so new to each other. |
Huh. Good catch. |
Funny, I didn’t notice anything amusing. |
I thought the shows title “ R & B” was smart. Aside from the obvious initials, Beth is clearly the Rythem and Randall is the blues. |
I totally noticed that. She had nobody from her family!!! Why was she alone in the room with not even her mother there?? |
Yes, it was strange |
I picked up on the stalker vibe as well. Totally soured me on young Randall |
