Exactly. |
The NYPD has no jurisdiction over the leaders of foreign countries, or over anyone, who doesn't commit a crime cognizable under NY law and within NY's jurisdiction. |
The mayor doesn’t create the tax code either. It seems like this guy has no idea what his job would entail. Or is being deliberately deceptive in his campaign. |
Are you kidding? Eric Adams is not going to beat ZM. Andrew Cuomo, an Italian, only beat ZM in Staten Island by 9 points. Look at how ZM checked Colbert here. Imagine a debate against Adams. Please note Brad Lander, Jewish city comptroller and former candidate, is supporting ZM here. He helped ZM win. They formed a coalition together https://youtu.be/ClNKD_6ow-g?si=olTRAeulhwE4NWg6 |
Eric Adams is corrupt and old news just like Cuomo |
Italians in Staten Island are more Republican than Dem and are not voting in a June Dem primary. The general is going to have a MUCH higher turnout and candidates like ZM do best in low turnout elections where “true believers” and activists make up a larger portion of the electorate than in the general. ZM is a bougie college kid. Adams has brought NYC’s homicide rate to historic lows and has a great relationship with Black voters and Jewish voters. He will also pull a lot of Republicans who will vote for him because he’s the lesser of two evils and has legitimately been great on crime. Bookmark this and watch in the general. |
I think this is likely as well. Not that Eric Adams is a good candidate or anything. He's trash. But sometimes people are put in a position where they feel compelled to vote against something, rather than for something. And working and middle class New Yorkers are going to vote against an elitist, progressive Manhattan dilettante like ZM. He's not getting Staten Island, Queens, or most of Brooklyn and the Bronx. ZM has Manhatten, and that's not enough. And again, this is a reflection of just how useless Democrats have become in recent years. The NY mayor should be a cakewalk for Democrats. But once again - terrible candidates. |
Cuomo may be staying in for the general. As I predicted in earlier threads.
“Former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo will be on the ballot in the November general election for New York City mayor, sources tell CBS News New York's political reporter Marcia Kramer. Cuomo faced a Friday deadline to withdraw his name from the November ballot. Friday is the "last day to decline after acceptance if nominee loses party primary," according to the state Board of Elections.” https://www.cbsnews.com/newyork/news/andrew-cuomo-nyc-mayor-election-november-ballot/?fbclid=IwQ0xDSwLLy59leHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHoKoe0lKWJEzLBxdmzknJaUGnoJjqHpDA2aEjnRbbboPsCmFZf75ELH9zybC_aem_spTIU9gqqtWT0YJ3vhY19A#z031m6xtddninyp05459jbyx2tsxzam8p |
As much as I wish he would/would have (he has a few more hours) it doesn't surprise me. He has a ton of money behind him. (Not as much as ZM, but a lot.) |
He has basically all the same backers as Trump plus all those wealthy Zionist billionaires so essentially unlimited funds |
No, you are lying. Show me one source that backs up your claim. Multiple sources showing mine have already been shared in this thread. |
Hmm...guy who wants to help working people or literal criminal and Trump stooge? Yes, both are equally terrible. |
Not true. Have you been to the older Trader Joe’s in Chevy Chase? |
Democratic leaders are fighting Zohran Mamdani way harder than they’ve ever fought Donald Trump |
Same energy they brought to fight Bernie |
