No his real crime is refusing Israel as his first action if elected and instead wanting to remain in New York to address its issues. He even had the audacity to say that Israel has a right to exist as a state where people are treated equally. Absolutely disgusting. |
WTF, Is he running for mayor of Israel or New York? Why does it matter if he's against apartheid ethnostate or not? Good for him not supporting a racist regime anyhow. |
He is a whacko and anyone voting for him is a grifter.
He is the son of an Indian and a Moslem, and was a rapper. |
And he is very wealthy as well. |
He's triggering Zionists nationwide with his lack of endorsement of apartheid which tells you he has actual morals and won't be one of AIPAC's sheep like more than 90% of politicians. |

Anyone who doesn't think NYC needs LEO is weird. I applaud him for not sticking up for Israel who are currently murderers but at the same time, NYC will become a nightmare if he truly seeks to defund police. In some level there has to be in this day and age, law enforcement. You need to stem the corruption which is not the same as clearing out everything and having nothing at all. |
I’d have to do more research on his policy because I don’t eat Fox News sized snack turds, but if he’s got a plan to tear it down and rebuild it in a way that makes sense I think he’d have widespread support. Here is more in his plan, and as is typical, the MAGAs here are lying. More often that not you can take that to the bank. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/04/01/nyregion/zohran-mamdani-crime-plan.html “He, too, said he would consider keeping Ms. Tisch as police commissioner and praised some of her policies, including addressing concerns about corruption and reducing the size of the department’s communications staff. His proposed Department of Community Safety would have a budget of roughly $1 billion, comprising $600 million for existing programs and $450 million in new funding. It would be run by a commissioner-level position, and Mr. Mamdani would eliminate the deputy mayor for public safety, a role that Mayor Eric Adams revived in 2022. He would expand programs like the Behavioral Health Emergency Assistance Response Division, or B-Heard, which sends teams of mental health professionals, rather than the police, to the scenes of certain emergencies. He also wants to deploy “mental health navigators” in neighborhoods and outreach teams at 100 subway stations to connect people with services. Mr. Mamdani said that he would pay for the additional costs related to the new agency — and for his broader affordability proposals — by raising taxes on wealthy residents and large corporations and through a better use of existing city funds and stronger enforcement of tax policy. Alana Sivin, a director at the Vera Institute of Justice, a criminal justice nonprofit, said that Mr. Mamdani’s plan embraced the “full range of tools” that are needed to improve public safety and “successful precedent in other parts of the country,” including the Community Safety Department in Albuquerque, N.M., which has responded to 100,000 calls for service.” |
And yet, he would be better than Cuomo. |
Not surprised and to be fair be fair, the other candidates are running for Mayor of Tel Aviv.
As for Cuomo, hope his victims get justice. Justice for the more-than-a-dozen women he sexually assaulted Justice for the 15,000 seniors who were killed because Cuomo forced COVID-positive patients to move back to nursing homes and infect other seniors Justice for NYers, who deserve a mayor who will prioritize affordability, instead of a mayor bought by DoorDash, big real estate, and billlionaires - who want to take more money out of people's pockets |
It is not Islamophobic to criticize Sharia law |
And it is not antisemitic to criticize racism and apartheid. |
Shocking poll by Emerson shows that Mamdami has surged into the lead:
