Only took a couple of hours, and Judge Burroughs put a stop to this foolishness.

It’s fine to have a completely independent organization that has an international focus but then they should play by different rules than colleges for American students play by.

It is a private school and can admit whoever it wants.

And you know what, all of those public flagships also want the best and brightest from around the world. And all of those foreign students pay full freight and offset the tuitions for the instate and scholarship kids from the USA. A win-win that if it goes away, will put hundreds of schools out of business.

It may be a private school, but it receives billions of taxpayer dollars, which means it has to play by the rules set forth by government.

The rules are not decided arbitrarily by the president, esp after the fact. And they set those rules when they apply for grants and receive them, so again...

This move by Trump is not because they "broke the rules." It is because they would not release PRIVATE STUDENT DATA.

At least try to get your talking points straight with Trump's various illegal tantrums

Is violating the civil rights of Jewish students on campus included in, as you shouted it, “ PRIVATE STUDENT DATA” ??

So you're OK with punishing thousands of other students for the sins of a few? And I'm not sure how widespread this antisemitism is. Sounds like someone's crying wolf to me.

I keep hearing this argument tossed around, that the full-price tuition of international students is off-setting the tuitions of American students and funding financial aid etc. But is it really? I mean, do international tuitions directly off-set the price of tuition for American students? Can someone cite the evidence for this? Somehow I thought most financial aid was funded by endowment which is not the same as incoming tuition.

Should never give a dime to those liberal elites. As others have posted Harvard endowment is $50-60 billion absolutely crazy to help them. Imo they are scammers when they are tax exempt and screw Cambridge and Boston out of badly needed tax revenue. As example of their total greediness have gone to sports events there and their athletic program is like a good prep school they have the gall to charge $20 bucks for parking. Total ripoff of American taxpayers. Go Trump!

Diversity of political view is not a type of diversity the Ivies will tolerate.

Seems like it’s Trump that’s being intolerant, dear.

Yes, he’s intolerant of the antisemites & foreign students harassing & stealing.

He’s so intolerant of anti-semites that he gave this guy a full pardon:

How many conservative speakers were invited to share their views at Harvard, dear?

Here’s the thing I don’t get, dear. If all of these Ivies are liberal indoctrination machines, why do these rich conservative people keep wanting to send their kids to them?

I would never send my child to Harvard, are you crazy?
- a rich conservative

Sure, Jan.

If your kid got accepted to Harvard and Liberty, there is zero chance they’d be going to Liberty.

You named two extremes. There are many outstanding colleges and universities.

Turn down Harvard. People do. It's not for everyone.

1. I’m pretty sure the feeling is mutual.
2. God only gives you problems you can handle.

Whatever they need to do it is not Trump's right to strong arm them because they said no to his illegal and unethical demands.

They are welcome to say no.
But they are not entitled to visas for foreign nationals and certainly not to billions of dollars.

You do realize how dumb and provincial you sound. Like seriously. Classmates with Noem?

We get it. You're brilliant like Mayorkas and skilled at deflecting, lying, and pretending that there hasn't been a problem. Cheers!

Noem spent four years at Northern State University (93% acceptance rate), dropping out to have a baby in 1994. Occasionally took classes from then till she finally obtained a BA from South Dakota State in '12 (86% acceptance rate).

Mayorkas fled Cuba with his family after the revolution, first to Florida, then to California. Attended U Cal Berkeley (11.3% acceptance rate), then onto Loyola Marymount for JD (33% acceptance rate).

This isn't hard.
