Also, who is the sad person who has posted that one picture four times now? I think you are a little obsessed. Time to move on. Is your goal to get it on every page of this thread?

Ditto. I also know lots of NOVA suburban women who are Democrats married to Republicans.

Sure doesn't seem like Mr. MAGA Miranda aligns with the values of the Democratic party.

It's an open caucus, just sign the stupid pledge that isn't in any way enforceable. So what if her husband voted for her. My spouse would vote for me because they're my spouse, even though we're not fully aligned politically.

Are you saying you are fine with lying on a pledge? Is Miranda's husband ok with lying on a pledge?

Loyal Dems have been telling others to sign that stupid pledge long before Miranda got in a race. I was told in MOG’s Race “sign it, it can’t be enforced”. That same person later went on to defend this farce of a caucus when ACDC voted on it.

I hate the pledge and won’t be clutching my pearls over it.

But is Miranda's husband going to sign it? He's an attorney too right? Would there be consequences for him if he lies on it?

Ok, are their husbands regular Republicans or misogynist MAGA Republicans?

Actually it doesn't even matter unless all these NOVA suburban women are also running for APS school board?

What kind of consequences are you looking for and who do you think is going to enforce it?

+1

Bottom line - she has demonstrated, best case, that she doesn't stand up to MAGAs/Youngkin/bullies.

Worst case, she is a Youngkin supporter.

Either way, she's not a good fit for the APS school board.

ACDC throw out his vote? Along with the other MAGAs/APEs?

I am begging you. Please, please show up to an AC/DC meeting and propose this.

On this type of pledge - yes. Because it's stupid in its essence and there is absolutely no way to enforce it. I disagree with "party loyalty no matter who the candidate is." If I were a republican and had signed a pledge to vote in a caucus that gave Trump the nomination, I would not have supported him in the election. Others' personal integrity and ethics lines may differ. We're not talking about an oath of office or marriage vows. But I bet you're ok with all the people breaking marriage vows.

You know what? If he signed the pledge and voted in the caucus, I'm betting my life savings and all I own that (1) he voted for Miranda and (2) will vote for Miranda as the Democratic endorsee in November. So what's the problem?

Your focus on her husband is truly incredulous. But it only shows that you can't really prove Miranda is not a Democrat because you have to harp on her husband so much. I married a Republican. Does that mean I'm not really a Dem?

I am absolutely convinced this is one commenter over and over. Maaaybe 2; but I'm betting it's one trying to make it look like more.

What's even sadder is this person could have shown up and talked to voters for AC. That would have had more impact than continuing to argue on DCUM.

Miranda had an army from what I could see. Looks like AC had his Dad with him.

There are multiple posters who think Angelo is the best choice this year. He's willing to stand up to MAGAs/bullies. Miranda has already demonstrated that she's not willing to do that.
