This is a blue state bug (for now at least)

As horrible as the death and devastation are, this might be the silver lining. We shall see

They wouldn't be able to "adjust" because the numbers are from April 2020.

If I were GOP, I would be more concerned about backlash as more of their flock are sick and dying and maybe some of them will awaken to the propaganda fog they have been living in. I won't hold my breath.

So let's stop with the racial divide here, it is all GOP morons who are destroying our country.

Yet no one finds it at all unusual that all these publications are producing these kinds of charts/graphs? I can’t imagine, during a pandemic in which the borders are wide open and international flights have resumed, taking the time to divide out people in such a manner, unless I had a political agenda.

The arrogance and narcissism in the above statement is astounding. Do people in this area truly feel they are that much more intelligent?

Honestly, I hate this. I've seen these discussions described as "gloating" by anti-vaxxers, and I'm not gloating. It's horrible. I didn't want you to do this. I didn't try to "cuck" you or whatever.

There isn't anything to do other than to note it, shake my head, and realize that you all are fixing the problem by setting things up so that you lose more voters in the long run.

And that isn't what I wanted, but it is what is.

Curious: when you had patients with Covid before the vaccine, did you tell them not to come in? To go to the hospital if they couldn’t breathe? My Republican doctor saw each and every patient and tried to prescribe meds to treat them early, only to have pharmacists block every scrip INCLUDING inhaled steroids because ‘they weren’t approved for Covid’. I wonder if you would note that and simply shake your head? Or would you try to go to bat for your patients like my own doc did, only to have your medical license threatened for your efforts?

There was repeated hammering on this point by anti-vaxxers and alt-right posters -- that there was this great racial divide, but it was untrue.

It was incorrect. A lie, A falsehood. A false narrative.

Setting the facts straight isn't driving a wedge -- it's removing it.

They’re all pretending that Democrats are the ones who kept bringing that up, but there’s the truth up there - it’s maga that won’t get the shot.

Now where did those rascally Republicans go? It’s like facts are the light and when they’re presented with them, they scatter.

It's one strain of post - the "why do you keep blaming Republicans when it's Black people who aren't getting the shot, huh? HUH?"

“Rural Americans are dying of COVID at more than twice the rate of their urban counterparts — a divide that health experts say is likely to widen as access to medical care shrinks for a population that tends to be older, sicker, heavier, poorer and less vaccinated.”
