And yet deaths continue to plummet. Cases aren't the issue. The issue is how it is impacting the health of the people with the cases. Lots of these are asymptomatic and young people that won't develop serious symptoms. They only learned it from increased testing, especially for sports where everyone is tested often.

Breathe. If you see ICU cases spike and deaths start to rise again, then there is serious concern. As it stands we're dropping about 15% each week since April. This keeps up by late July we'll be below where we were when this started.

ICU cases are starting to spike in Florida and some other places.

Now can I run around in panic like I supposedly did a few months ago?

Houston ICU beds are filling up, too.

As if just "merely" being admitted to the ICU is nothing to get worked up about. It's just a walk in the park!

Ultimately, because Trump didn't provide leadership so people would wear masks for like 3 months, we are all going to have to wear them for the next 2 or whatever years until there is a vaccine.

In that time, the economy will not full recover.

It's pretty easy to address this and it really takes a woeful lack of leadership to create the conditions where wearing or not wearing a mask becomes a political statement.

Kill more people now by removing treatment for the “cases” that have an opportunity for recovery, to have a vaccine available a month or so sooner, but certainly not by election. That is Drumpf thinking right there.

A vaccine like this would normally take about 10 years to develop, assuming they identify the right code. But they have to test it against different conditions as well, to see how long it lasts (3 months, a year 10 years, permanently) - so the idea that something is going to be available and ready by next year is just a fool's game.
