When you lose (frequently), it’s a showcase or a scrimmage or it’s a new team or the coaches are about development. When you win (rarely), it speaks for the high quality of the DA and how bad ECNL , the ecnl mid Atlantic division, and all of the ecnl clubs are. The hypocrisy is real.

Thanks for the tip, troll.

+1. Who sh*t in his oatmeal?

This is true though. An ecnl team loses a fluke showcase game to spirit and it’s used as an argument against ecnl, mid atlantic division, etc. Look back through the threads. It is pretty funny and is brought up anytime the ecnl vs da debate starts. When they lose, there’s a list of excuses related to rosters or the type of game it was. For example, the Richmond united games over the weekend.

I do not think anyone did anything to PP’s oatmeal. They have a point. Spirit/MU parents...

So showcases that Spirit win are flukes and unlisted scrimmages half the team does not attend suddenly become games. That is funny.

Thanks for pointing out Spirit’s good results against VDA though

The VDA results haven’t been mentioned in months. That you have brought them up now must mean it really hurt you.

I think they brought it up cuz it’s the only time a Spirit team has won a game. I mean even an angler without a rod or a net catches a fish now and then.

Last week. All the time. That and fcv losing to pda weekly by spirit parents. Maybe it’s just the 05 spirit parents that stink?

Every week “fcv 05 lost to pda 05 7-0. The parents fought on the sideline.” Then it’s “vda 05 and their division suck. Spirit beat them 1-0 at a showcase.”

Also that McLean 05 cant be good because a lot of players left for spirit. Therefore, McLean 05 and its league and division must stink.

Sounds like a sad 05 parent. Attack the 3-4 best teams in the area (if you include Arlington). Everyone knows MU is the bottom of the barrel in NOVA. The question is which team did his little Mia Hamm not make?

Bottom of the barrel LOL, depends on the criteria, no? As far as coaching and environment, Spirit (MU doesn’t actually exist yet) ranked pretty well. They didn’t win as much, but thankfully have changed the base reasons for that with the Spirit association. Maybe they do better next year due to the changes, who knows. Why you feel the need to derail every Spirit thread says more about your personality than Spirt parents.

Your #2 lost 4-1 Saturday to another team on the list in a scrimmage. By spirit standards, that’s a World Cup finals win.

It isn’t the PDA loss that gets brought up it is the parents fighting that gets brought up. It is that sideline culture that is being discussed NOT the result.
