VDA was formed in 2015 and competed in 2016. CYA is the only original partner to drop out in that time. It is now 2019-2020 season and no visable cracks in the VSA/PWSI VDA partnerships. Richmond United is doing just fine with the Kickers and Strikers as well. |

Agree with all of the above. And the 04's would be better if they weren't taking players up to 03 every week. They are trying to fix issues with teams but in turn cause issues with other teams. I almost think it would be better if they got rid of the 03 team completely. The few talented girls on that team could play with the older group. That would strengthen the 04 group so they could be more competitive.
And next year don't even try for an 07 group. Just let the 06 and 07's play together and bring all the 08's together so that age group can be somewhat competitive. To be a DA club are you required to have teams at every age? It could be Metro just isn't going to be able to provide that if they want any of them to be competitive. |
The 03 team has talent just injuries. They need a team in each age group except for U13. |
Sorry, but that's ridiculous. The only reason the 03 group is light is the 19s keep pulling 03s up every week. And there are still issues with injuries as well. besides, the 04 group is maybe the same level as 03, but it's not stronger. Besides, 04 don't want to play up, but we should make the 03s? The entire group? That isn't good for them either. I don't know if the DA allows skipping any old age group like that. They generally only allow bottom up building, so MU would have to field those younger teams to stay. |
