And, it is clear you are going to blame Trump for the whole issue.
I put a lot of the blame on Congresswoman Wilson because she actually started the entire scandal.

Uh, the scandal started when Trump went off on a tangent, disparaging his predecessors and how they responded to servicemen killed in action, and then scrambled to do something to show he actually cared about the 4 men killed in Niger and then bungled the call to the widow of Sgt. Johnson. All that happened before Wilson spoke up.

No. He didn't disparage them. Listen to the video of the answer he gave. The media spun it into disparagement.

No, that's wrong. The Gold star widow and mother of La David Johnson said they felt disparaged. The media reported it. That's their job. If you want to listen only to Trump's spin rather than the family of the dead soldier, that's your decision.

Feelings are not fact, especially when it comes to a grieving widow

Feelings are the only fact when it comes to a gold-star family

That's ridiculous and I'm a conservative! Being a gold-star family doesn't give one the license to do anything one wants.

Why is it NOT okay with you for Trump to be opportunistic, but okay for the Congresswoman?

I'm not lambasting either person for being oppurtunistic, just questioning an inconsistency.

Seriously. you don't see a difference between a president who is obligated to make these calls (and keeps them private) and a congresswoman who betrays the sanctity of a call that she's overheard by publicizing its content for her political gain? I'm no Dotard fan but I don't see how this guy is getting bashed and that crazy lady is getting a free ride.

He's not obligated to make these calls, and he's made a career out of being oppurtunistic. Even wrote a book about it. No, I don't see a difference. I also don't think the congresswoman is crazy. The sanctity of his other calls have also been violated, but nobody is getting upset about that.

Not only is she getting a free ride, but she's demanding an apology!

Very true, but he put himself into a box by putting down others and claiming to be the best.

It sorta backfired on multiple fronts.

Trump is currently fighting w/ a former POW who has brain cancer and an Army widow who's six months pregnant.

It's how this entire ordeal started.

I don't understand why people think Kelly an override Trump on using nukes when he can't control Trump's attacks on a gold star family

All he had to do was acknowledge that his comments may have been misinterpreted and apologize. It would have been over the next day. He's the one acting crazy and keep this in the news. Has he EVER admitted a mistake?

And no, he was not obligated to make a call. Would have been easier for him to sign a pre-written letter than try to read a script. Lesson learned.

True. Trump's inferiority complex about Obama strikes again.

Unless that's actually you, Eric, you should credit tweets to their author rather than just copying them verbatim with no attribution,

If this were a white gold star family the conservatives would have stood behind them.

But black lives don’t matter to conservatives.

According to Sarah Sanders, white gold star families can do no wrong, but black ones are to be questioned.
