Seriously. you don't see a difference between a president who is obligated to make these calls (and keeps them private) and a congresswoman who betrays the sanctity of a call that she's overheard by publicizing its content for her political gain?  I'm no Dotard fan but I don't see how this guy is getting bashed and that crazy lady is getting a free ride.[/quote]

All he had to do was acknowledge that his comments may have been misinterpreted and apologize. It would have been over the next day.  He's the one acting crazy and keep this in the news. Has he EVER admitted a mistake?

And no, he was not obligated to make a call.  Would have been easier for him to sign a pre-written letter than try to read a script. Lesson learned.[/quote]
