Different PP. But honestly, it seems like you need to get a life. You come across as driven by hatred and jealousy, with nothing better to do than bash Wootton across hundreds of pages |
Hypothetical? Interesting, because bringing a loaded gun to school seems pretty real and not hypothetical but ok. Sure-the actual portion of the GHS feeder that is slotted to move to crown in option H is a small section and that’s exactly why they did it that way. Once the option goes into effect they can move whoever they want over there. crown is already slotted for expansion so the capacity will increase and therefore so will the amount of kids redistricted there from GHS. One of the whole arguments of this option is that enrollment has gone down and is predicted to continue to decrease. So where else do you think they will get the kids to fill the school? |
Again, nobody has been shot or stabbed at GHS. If you want we can talk about the relative danger of one kid being arrested for bringing a ghost gun to school and another kid being criminally convicted of planning a mass shooting at school? And your entire second paragraph is hypothetical fearmongering. |
School capacity and enrollment most frequently increases or decreases not as a result of redistricting, but rather the changing population within the district. Given the recent development and type of housing around Crown, the most reasonable projection is that geographic area will generate more high school students in the coming years....not that the geographic area will expand. |
DP. So does this mean Crown will fill up organically over time without the need to move Wootton there to constitute 75% of the student body (and change the name to Wootton to fool people and enrich the real estate developers around Crown)? |
No. |
So the highly dense residential area immediately around Crown won’t result in hundreds of new students? |
It would |
Wootton has had some pretty bad stuff happen the past few years so they should not be commenting on safety. |
Wootton parents are bashing other families, schools and neighborhoods to keep separate. That’s how all this got started. One even demanded to the BOE to stop a renovation at a low income elementary school for Wootton. You all are in line. Your school per the newspaper has gotten regular improvements. Every school deserves repairs. |
There was a brutal rape at Wootton from the varsity football team. No other school has had that happen. |
Why do you refuse to talk about the facts! Why do you want to deny this happened when it’s in writing. Why do you act like Wootton has no issues when it has many. Why can’t you offer up any solutions beyond immediate repairs which isn’t happening. |
Are you joking? There have been multiple rapes at other moco high schools. Did you forget about the one in 2017 at Rockville high school? Because it was awful. |
|
Yes, it was highly publicized-national news. And yes it was in the bathroom at school. Why don’t you actually look it up before asking? |
