And a nice contrast (or path to follow) to Kate and Toby -- friendly and cooperative about the kids, even if the romantic relationship didn't work out. Now to get Kevin together with someone he didn't meet through Kate. |
| Little Jack is so cute! And a great actor! |
| How old is "young Jack" in the flash forward scenes (where he's using the Big Green Egg, singing in concert, etc.)? About 25 or 30? |
Oh, I didn't even think of that. Yup. Great episode for Rebecca. She realized the red boots were gone and that it meant Jack went to the park. And she was hilarious on her anniversary date with Jack. She really is the star of this show and never disappoints. |
No kidding! I kept watching to see if they were dubbing his lines or editing like crazy, because that was pretty incredible. I wonder if the little actor's blindness had an impact on that. I could imagine that a vision impairment might heighten the kid's perception and emotional intelligence in a way that translates into better acting skill, even at that tiny age. |
Definitely. But for some posters, everything comes back to Kate's weight, which is weird because not everything comes back to The One Thing about Keven or The One Thing about Randall |
I wonder if they just improvised with him - let him talk and be the wing actors as he discussed his shoes, the park, etc. |
Oh my gosh agree! He was so cute. That little voice! |
Um, Rebecca told Kate where he was, and Rebecca hauled ass to get to him. Where was Kate? |
Great point. Yes, the little guy was fantastic and hope we see more of him! |
Yes, Kate didn’t even try to get to the park. And wouldn’t you have a high lock on all doors going outside with a kid regardless of sight? |
| I haven’t given up on Madison or Sophie for Kevin! Madison loves the guy but still in love with Kevin. |
So weird of Elijah going through her rings with a ring sizer and getting caught by Kevin. |
I agree! What a great actor and an adorable kid. It was heartbreaking when he said he went to the park because “that’s where mommy and daddy are happy.” I also agree with the PP who asked why Kate wasn’t there with Rebecca at the park. If my kid—whether with vision impairment or not—had wandered off and someone had a hunch about where she was, you can bet I would be running like the wind to get to her. Meanwhile, Rebecca gets to the park, finds Jack, hugs him, talks to him, etc. and Kate is nowhere to be found. |
Agree! This show is full of red herrings. Case in point-- Weren't we led to believe that Jack's head injury/marriage-ending fight was from an accident with Toby's special green grill? |
