FVC St James uniforms

How do the FCV St James uniform costs compare to last year? What with them being free and all (Isn't that what was posted earlier?) I wonder what else (field locations ) will also be changed from the propaganda earlier this spring? Farewell Evergreen!

None of them will respond to you about this. All in the car driving to Springfield for practice.

Where is Springfield?

New jerseys, new practice jerseys, new shorts, new socks. So much for 'FREE'. The fact that the new STJFCV uniform requires new shorts and socks -- solid black/white shorts and socks as opposed to ones with a single stripe, shows you how little these people care about your pocketbook. Don't be surprised when they switch over to Nike unis next year!

Same price as last year...had to pay for the new Puma jerseys. Were told they would be free IF the club switched to Nike, which they did not.

No promises broken, but do have to buy new uniforms. New patch and new sponsor.

So far 3 out of 4 practices at Evergreen. 4th is still being worked out. Last year was at Dulles Sportsplex.

The 4th practice will be in the Springfield area. It is fall, you will need lights so Bless is out. Football season, so most/all High School fields are out.

Just accept it.

I'll certainly let you know. Won't bother me either way.

So the club could have gotten free jerseys by switching to Nike and DIDN'T DO IT??? Way to screw your families over.

Well, I guess they technically didn't promise that you wouldn't have to buy new kits other than the general rule of thumb that they are good for two years.

I'm not really sure why switching to Nike would have made the kits free, but since that was clearly a possibility it is telling that the St James choose not to do you any favors by eating the Puma contract AND providing free Nike kits.

Hell, all they needed to do was replace the jerseys with the new logos and eat that cost or reduce the price in good faith. But to go immediately to completely new kits?

I believe they tried but last years jersey were discontinued and new families could not purchase. Plus a new sponsor so the logo across the front would need to be removed, covered or accepted. I had to buy new kits anyway as my kid grew more and the old socks get worn out.

So that means they couldn't just find two black and white jerseys and call it day? LOL ok

Well they can't be just ANY black or white jersey. They have to be the same. And if a new player is unable to purchase a matching jersey, they couldn't play.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your sarcasm?

Yes, any black and white Puma Jersey will do.
