Yes, any black and white Puma Jersey will do.

No, they have to match, the entire team. You should know this.

The jerseys were not much and as I said, I had to buy new kits anyway because of growth. That probably isn't the case for all, but a lot of people were in the same boat.

FCV requires so many different colored jerseys that a your closet would look like a Jackson Pollock painting. Just replacing with a generic black and white puma GAME jersey for the year would have been easy and easier on the wallet.

FCV has 2 game jerseys. What you propose is exactly what they did. The new jerseys are basic Puma jerseys.

FCV has 2 training jerseys. They could have relented here a little, but the training jerseys are used for warm up for games as well as training so I get it...$50 isn't that bad. Especially in N. Va area.

Just replace the jerseys. You really believe it is necessary to have shorts without a stripe?

Ehh...doesn't bother me.

I know some make a big deal out of it, but I just don't care. Shorts were around $18. I can skip Starbucks a couple times and I'm even.

I like the new jerseys. I think they look great. I like the new logo/patch.

If we have to change again next year, that may be harder to swallow. But our family usually purchases new jerseys nearly every year because of growth and/or wear.

Perhaps you should spring for the kits of family members whom it is a big deal then?

Hey everyone look at Mr. Big Bucks here! A new kit every year doesn't bother him. He'll just skip Starbucks twice to pay for the new shorts.

Nope. They chose FCV, they can fund their kid. Every parent/player had a choice and they chose FCV.

I believe there is even an optional insurance you can buy at registration for 50 or 75 that protects against your deposit (in case you change your mind). I saw it last year, not sure if I just glossed over it this year or not.

I doubt spending $150 on a new kit is crippling anyone. The bill for DA travel is crippling, not jerseys.

Really not sure why people behave like this. Shorts are $18 or so. It really isn't hard to budget for that. Nobody has to be "Mr. Big Bucks" to pay $18.

New bag, new socks, new warm-ups, new jerseys, new practice jerseys.

Most folks will end up spending $150 minimum to replace things that they already have and were still useful. None of the items are necessary beyond the game jerseys.

If items like socks and shorts need to be replaced due to growing that is a very different thing than being mandated to buy an entirely new kit this year and very likely again next year when/if they switch to Nike.

What will be your excuse be next year?

How many people not new to the club went into this year believing they would need completely new kits?
Anonymous
Bags, warm-ups, etc are not required. Only jerseys (training and game), shorts, socks.

Just put everything in the cart again and ordering a complete new kit (minimum), $156.

Your hatred and disdain for FCV is extreme. Did someone from FCV do something to you or your child?

I believe I said it would cost a minimum of $150. Thanks for confirming what I already said

Dude. Give it a rest. Fcv has to buy new uniforms. We get it.

Really not sure why people behave like this. Shorts are $18 or so. It really isn't hard to budget for that. Nobody has to be "Mr. Big Bucks" to pay $18.
