Those black semi-tight yoga(?) pants that moms at the playground wear

Anonymous
Where do you buy them?

Do you know what I'm talking about? The pants are black, not skin tight, but definitely shows the lower body contour (for better or for worse). They remind me of yoga pants, but I don't know if they are or not. Most gals wear them with a long sleeve shirt and then a vest.

I'm looking to revitalize my look - I want to get rid of my frumpiness and rebuild my self image and confidence. I started wearing a little bit of make up today so I'm ready for the next step - a new wardrobe.

Don't do it! (Unless you have skinny legs, IMHO.)

Lululemon. High quality fabric. Doesn't show asany bumps and bulges. ! That's what they are all wearing.

Or Lucy - great fabrics that are really flattering.

If you are average to slim you can pull them off. Lulu and Lucy are the best.

Actually, I am moderate-to-heavy, and very, very musclar, and these kind of pants look better on me than other bottoms.

Agree that it's best to splurge and choose the heavier fabric. Skip the Old Navy version.

My husband got me some from Nike that were a bit pricey (though much less than Lululemon) and flattering. I think he got them at City Sports.

Just wanted to say-- good for you! A few other ideas, since I take it you are likely a SAHM. What is your body build?

1) Yoga pants, long sleeve tshirts, and vest is a good look for many
2) get a nice pair of jeans or two if you can (bootcut is the most flattering for most people) in a a darker wash
3) a pair of boots that have a chunkier heel. If you have a bit of money to spend, Frye are nice. Or just get some at Macys/DSW or someplace like that. Most versatile is chocolate brown
4) A wrap sweater or two. Conceals a lot and good over the yoga type pants too. Dark colors most versatile

Have fun!

What do you mean by vest? Can you link to an example?
