Full change for all players no playing up, will allow some kids to play up depending on coaches decision, will let Aug-Dec players who are grade above play up to stay with school grade team (if they are at the level to make the team).

Its hard because rational people see that kids want to play on teams with other kids that are their grade in school. Age guy wants plastic trophies and doesnt care what his kid would prefer.

Coaches are stuck in the middle. They know that Aug birthdays playing on the team thats their grade in school is the way to go. But the play downers are always looking to ways to cheat by playing their kid down against younger players. Which makes things difficult.

How is being the oldest kid within your age group cheating? So are January birthdays cheating under the current BY?

Next year, Aug Birthdays play on age, or up on age. They can’t play down, so there can’t be play downers cheating anyone. Just accept that you’re wrong and that your kid isn’t good enough to make the team that they want to play on without forcing some one else to play up on age so that your kid can keep spot on team.

They must be trolling or have an agenda. If they are focused on college recruiting for the sake of the August kids, I may listen to their point of view, but accusations of cheating are most likely an indication of an agenda that's faltering.

There's a specific college recruiting category just for August born kids that everyone is unaware of?

Its the mentality of looking for ways to play down vs playing on a team thats a players grade in school.

Think outside of soccer. Who are the parents looking for ways to play their kid down against younger players? If you've ever played a sport in America theres always one or two of these on any team. Also you've probably experienced these kind of players get all the opportunities at first then over time filter right back to the bench or they quit. In football I remember one guy whos parents held him back and he was on steroids for his "allergy". The guy looked like a monster to kids in 7th grade. But by the time he was a junior in hs his hair was falling out and he didnt get much taller which made him shorter than most on the tean. All his parents manipulation of the rules didnt make a difference because mentally even with the steroids he didnt have what it takes.

This is how most play downers end up. Theres usually some kind of snowplow parent that lacks ethics pushing to get their kid whatever advantage possible in the background.
Ok so you don't like biobanding. Many do. You don't have to like the rules but they are the rules. There are no unwritten rules to specifically help you snowplow for your daughter and there won't be. It's over.

They set the rules to not allow playing down (except MLSN). You are reaching in looking for excuses to go from age based to grade based groups. They set a 12 month window to avoid your example ironically.

"When age gaps widen beyond 12 months, the disparity in talent and physical maturity widens considerably. Keeping the grouping within the August 1–July 31 window ensures players compete with and against peers of similar physiological, emotional, and social maturity."

Playing August birthdays on their grade in school team is 100% allowed by the rules.

11v11 = U18/U19 = 8/1/2008 + younger = Senior
11v11 = U18/U19 = 8/1/2008 + younger = Junior
11v11 = U17 = 8/1/2010 + younger = Sophmore
11v11 = U16 = 8/1/2011 + younger = Freshman
11v11 = U15 = 8/1/2012 + younger = 8th grade
11v11 = U14 = 8/1/2013 + younger = 7th grade
11v11 = U13 = 8/1/2014 + younger = 6th grade
9v9 = U12 = 8/1/2015 + younger = 5th grade
9v9 = U11 = 8/1/2016 + younger = 4th grade
7v7 = U10 = 8/1/2017 + younger = 3rd grade
7v7 = U9 = 8/1/2018 + younger = 2nd grade
4v4 = U8 = 8/1/2019 + younger = 1st grade
4v4 = U7 = 8/1/2020 + younger = kindergarten
Should indicates obligation, advice, or expectation (what is right or necessary), while could indicates possibility, capability, or a polite suggestion (what is optional or possible)

"When age gaps widen beyond 12 months, the disparity in talent and physical maturity widens considerably."

Not in the rules same with rae. So Il'l choose to ignore your obituarily made up nonsense.
Idk what your problem is.

Find a club willing to play your daughter up an age group if you believe in playing up. Everybody else gonna do their own thing, case by case.

Not your kid, not your call.

FYI, your made up nonsense to make your DD the oldest and benefit from RAE hasn't fooled anyone.

Trying to coerce others to snowplow for your DD, yes we all got what your trying to do. Hence the multiple people telling you to bugger off.

Nobody is running to clubs to play up merely to help you especially when they actively discourage playing up.

No problem at all.

100% following the rules as written.
Not your kid, not your call.

Teams could play an 6 year old on U19 age group, still not going to happen.

Fortunately Clubs will make the decision for Aug birthdays looking to play on grade down teams when they offer them a spot on the correct grade B team or grade down B team.

Everyone knows which team parents will choose.

Any proof or more make a wish stuff?

Just not believable around here at all. With competition tougher up an age group, offers would be on average be for better teams on age than up an age group.

You haven't offered anything thing to make grade year happen.

Proof will come when fall rosters are posted and all players are the same graduating year.

I've said this multiple times.
Today that's a prayer, not proof.

Considering thats how things worked with SY Pre-2017 I'd call it more of an advantage bet.
Except you said August kids only played on grade pre-2017. You said never heard of a misaligned kid under the old SY. So then you expect us to believe that these imaginary kids would have gotten second team offers on age? That's the thing about fibbing. Tough to keep your story straight.

11v11 = U18/U19 = 8/1/2008 + younger = Senior
11v11 = U18/U19 = 8/1/2008 + younger = Junior
11v11 = U17 = 8/1/2010 + younger = Sophmore
11v11 = U16 = 8/1/2011 + younger = Freshman
11v11 = U15 = 8/1/2012 + younger = 8th grade
11v11 = U14 = 8/1/2013 + younger = 7th grade

I have no idea what you're talking about. I never heard of players playing down Pre-2017. I only heard of players playing up. There wasnt some magic A or B team cutoff in my statement.

You said clubs would offer option of on age B team or up a year B team for the fall for misaligned kids. But then also purport to "know" that clubs under the old SY didn't have kids playing off grade. Which is it? You math is not mathing.

Ahhh now I see what you're getting at.. Never heard of anyone playing down Pre-2017 which implies that nobody chose to play on the grade down B team.
