There's a reason that women were traditionally encouraged to get married first, so that they and children would be protected.

Why should it be on the woman?

Because the PP is stuck in 1850 England.

Fathers-to-be should be required to pay their fair share of prenatal care, increased grocery bills, maternity clothes, baby supplies, etc. Your child is being housed underneath her roof, you have to help pay rent/mortgage, utilities, etc.

We need to increase welfare, as it takes time to get paternity proven.
This aid should be available for all women regardless of income.
Perhaps Mr Trump could sell one of his towers to support this

Here's a friendly tip. Don't get pregnant unless you're married.

Being married doesn't mean father will not abscond
Men are so unreliable

Why should the expense of a kid be on him?

+1. Behind every unwanted pregnancy is a man.

Ensuring that children are protected and cared for is hardly "1850 England." It's what everyone should want for their kids.

Strange times when Howard Stern is the voice of reason.

Atheism is growing in this country and at some point in time the rational, sensible folks will outnumber the fairytale believing imbeciles and then we will have a sane policy on reproductive rights.

Yes. What if these laws actually lead to increased birth control use, fewer unwanted pregnancies, increased condom use with fewer STDs, fewer teen pregnancies? Will there be any recognition that having abortions right up until the time of birth might be a bad thing? That curtailing it some might have some positive benefits? I doubt it.
