I see it all the time doom scrolling. Commit to EMU, Radford, etc. What are we doing folks, if that is the best school you could get into then congrats. But if you pass up any of the decent schools like Madison, Tech, Mason, VCU to play soccer at Radford? |

+1 horrible education and facilities |
Does this mean ED and CC who are “on the bubble” of skill as a coach need to also look for another job? |
Them dudes who starve to death if it weren’t for “soccer” |
The owner a +$100m Company I work with graduated from Frostburg. No different than a kid who goes to an Ivy or great school and fails out. It’s the person, not the school. The school just gives the person better opportunities. |
+1 |
Not everyone has the same "opportunities".. Elon Musk could have graduated at Frostburg and the school still has horrible education and facilities. |
This is what failure in life looks like. Do they get a trophy just for showing up? If they applied the same standard they apply to players, they both get let go mid season. Can the club bring in a new coach for the all the HA programs and make them assistants or move to a rec program? |
I don't think many people consider failing coaching a team to 1st place and being the Director of the Girls side in 2nd place overall in GA. If that is failure, what do you call NVA and Loudoun? Maybe an extra adjective in front of failure? What did you expect from the guy, winning a National Championship in his first two years at a Club that was an NCSL bottom dweller before he came? I dunno. Just calling a spade a spade. When I think of failure, I tend to think teams coached are bottom of table and club overall is at the bottom too. I'm normal though and the posts on this thread does not make me think their are many rational folks here. |
Cute. He has played the mediocre opponents in Fall deliberately to get that trip to CA on VRSC parents’ dime. The team he’s coaching wasn’t bottom dweller at NCSL. He literally brought as much as he humanely could from FCV. That included coaches to appeal his ego. However, not much is expected from someone who thinks a bar is a normal thing to have around minors and applauds the former owner’s affairs. |
