| Well that’s a FUBAR |
|
Wow. Has any school ever done that?
I'm surprised that they're not offering a semester of online classes at a significant discount. |
|
They are also offering to pay a student’s community college tuition in the form of a tuition credit once they transfer to Tech OR take classes this summer for free, but leave for either the fall or spring semester.
What happens if they don’t get many takers? |
Dang. I would definitely take that community college tuition credit deal. You could practically go to school for free. |
|
Wow, great opportunity for some kids. Good for VT for coming up with a creative way of handling the situation.

+1 |
| I went to an SLAC and the class that was coming in right after I graduated was so big they had to slap together a whole new dorm over the summer. |

$1000? Pathetic
How about firing their admissions director. They are either absolutely overfilled or underfilled ever year. |
| Their acceptance rate will be below 55% next year, guaranteed. |
|
Didn’t VA Tech hire some fancy consulting firm to help inform their admissions strategy and yield this year?
Perhaps that company is paying for this program. |
| Those are creative and appealing offers- saves a significant amount of a 4 year degree. |
$1000/year is a significant savings? Tuition is $23,000. |
