| How will you get highlight clips when your team plays so poorly |
Individual highlights are not that hard to come by. For the 10,000th time, coaches recruit players not teams. Coaches do not look at league standing to decide who to recruit. |
| How old are these kids commanding 54 pages of nonsense? |
See your mistake is thinking it’s about the kids. It’s about the parents thumping their chest. The coaches tell them their middle school kid is elite. In two years reality will descend on this age group. Maybe a 4-6 of the ECNL and GA girls per team will get a shot at playing in college. The majority of the colleges will not be well know. Everyone will look back and think why did we waste some much time traveling. |
No we’ll think back about the time spent with our kids doing something they love. It’s not about chest thumping. It’s about letting your kid enjoy things that as an adult they’ll never have time to do. |
Because it's about you and not the team. They don't recruit teams. |
Sure ECNL has so many unhappy stressed out girls.

+1. |
Lol no |
For the 100,000th time, coaches do not want to see a player against low level competition. For the 100,000th time, a player who is being recruited must be able to work with his/her teammates. No coach is going to want the "superstar" that does nothing but try and take on a team on his/her versus a team player that knows how to use the players around them, hence, if a player doesn't have decent players around them, it's hard to be recruited as a player. |
It depends. If there is an amazing goalkeeper, the coaches won't hesitate to recruit even if the keeper is surrounded by mediocre players. The same applies to center backs. It is harder for attacking players, if they play on a bad team, but even then certain things could make them stand out (e.g, speed, first touch, decision making). |
Dumbest post ever. Feel free to research some of those top table ECNL/FCV teams in the area and let me know what you come up with. I'll get you started. Mclean, FCV and Bethesda, Class of 2018. Then, have a look at Loudoun, BRYC, Armour, and MD United Class of 2018. Please report back with what you find out. Thanks. |
LOL, College coaches can watch players and know where the blame lies. If they see a kid doing what they are supposed to do under the circumstances they can project how the player would play surrounded with better talent. If the coach is watching a specific player and that player makes the right pass and the other kid botches it the scouted player is not down graded over it. |
Oh you would be surprised. The coaches are not looking for the rest of the team. The coach wants the star players. You think the NBA passes on a player because they play on a bad team or at a small school? LOL. Stop posting about stuff you do not know about. |
| FCV still not getting ECNL. |
