When one throws their hoo ha out there front and center, it becomes fair game.

Look away! The popular consensus is they killed. Perhaps you should find a community more suited to your values. The Handmaids club, maybe?

These types of dance moves are appropriate for children? Because Super Bowl has always been a family event. I guess not anymore. And don't tell me this is typical Latino dance stuff...sorry, I am Latino and I don't buy that.

Seriously she looks like she’s having an orgasm in that second picture.

Latina here why are you NOT criticizing the camera man’s angel on JLO. More than likely that camera man is WHITE and was zooming in on JLO’s crotch. I’m sure if the camera man zoomed out a little or moved the camera angle up a little it would of looked different. The same goes with Shakira when the camera man was zooming up towards her crotch area.

For that pic, JLo slid directly at the camera on the floor. She slid her crotch into the lens front and center. Did you actually watch? Because that’s what happened. The camera man didn’t have to go looking for that shot. She presented it directly to him.

They had 3 independent companies censoring the show so clearly the normal human thought it was okay for family TV. I watched, it was fine. It is not different than close up shots of gymnasts.

Gymnasts don’t grab their crotches. Why is this so hard to understand? Quit being willfully ignorant. It is not even remotely the same. Find me a gymnast who grabs her crotch and slides it into the camera front and center, then we’ll talk.

It's exactly the same but your racist subconscious can't see it that way. I think your racism is so ingrained that you can't see that you judge these women with a different measuring stick than other women... gymnasts, dancing with the stars, so you think you can dance, america's got talent... alll of them the same... but they are mostly white women so... it's okay in your mind.

I wonder how much age, as well as ethnic heritage, plays a role in some of the criticism.... Seems like there are women commenting on here who packed it in and gave up on themselves at a (relatively) young age. Seeing images of women (mothers) in their 40's and 50's being fit, good looking and moving like people half their ages should give pause to any woman who can't walk up the stairs without getting winded. They're pissed that they are frumpy and dowdy at 35 and they enjoyed it until last Sunday....

This is why we can’t have a rational conversation. Crotch grabbing and a balance beam routine are the same exact thing? It’s just not. Not even on your planet.

aging ladies trying overly hard.

They both are from a time when baring it all was a pre requisite for a female entertainer who wanted to make it big.

Hopefully times have changed enough that this type of performance will age itself out.

The younger crowd tends to be a little more modest.

The shaming of women for speaking up and saying this kind of objectifying of women is not ok.

Just because I want to be seen as more than a sexual object does not make me a prude or an ugly old hag. Jesus ladies!

But jlo and shakira??? In a planned sbhalftime show??? OMGGGGGG

Because Bettys and Karen’s can’t dance like that.

But are totally fine yelling obscenities and curse words talking about f this and f that and cursing around little kids.

I know because I was at the women’s march 3 years ago. It was vile. I can imagine that same crowd of overweight middle age women are the ones who would be upset at minority famous women dancing on stage for 10 minutes.

Also, scantially clad? Both women had on outfits from head to toe.

The liberal women's march women are not the ones who are upset at this, based on what I have seen. The people who are upset at this are the conservative, family-values people.

Not true. I vote conservatively but I also believe in a woman’s privilege and right to be who she wants to be. As a prosecutor, of course I subscribe to the idea that women should be able to wear what they want and not be called sluts, trash, or said they were “asking for it.” I loved the performance. I’m not sure this particular issue is something that lines up politically.

But, others don't see it the same way you do. You are working yourself up trying to convince people of something they will never believe. There is something amiss with you. Remember: the definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. You are being defeated. This can only end badly for you and your delicate sensibilities.

Since you are clueless...it’s fine if YOU want that for YOURSELF but you cannot tell other women they should want that too. The way you want to be seen is your own interpretation. Some men who find modesty sexy may still only see you as a sexual object. Other men may see you as important as paint drying. You just don’t get to claim that every woman who does it differently than you are wrong. Worry about yourself.
