Will Trump drop Vance?

Anonymous
The couches and whatnot is what brings people in to learn more about him. And then they find out that he is against abortion in the case of rape and incest ("two wrongs don't make a right"), that he thinks people with children should have more votes than people without children, that he "hates police," that he just wants to give Ukraine to Russia, repeats the unfounded accusation that the 2020 election was rigged/stolen, and the list goes on and on.

+1 Pretty savvy analysis. Putting it even more simply, the Republican strategy may have been to a) attract potential voters with reports of Vance having had sexual contact with couches and then b) with their interest piqued, really nail them down by touting his:

- defense of incest,
- affection for totalitarian regimes,
- appealing use of eyeliner.

It hasn’t worked but, to be fair, hindsight is 20/20.

It takes away from the victim hood snowflake narrative that appeals to those who would vote for Harris. They don’t like examples of self made men.

Self made. lol. He’s Peter Thiel’s lapdog.

They will not like it if he fires Vance. Trump needs their $$.

Also Trump looks like a loser if he suddenly dumps him in less than a month of launching him.

What a mess.

Tucker Carlson also personally lobbied Trump to choose Vance. Tucker is a WASP recluse. These men around Trump have the worst instincts and are so out of touch. It’s going to be hilarious when Trump gets unhinged and blames all of them and weirdo Vance for the loss. Vance as VP will go down as one of the worst unforced errors in American politics.

Trump is the problem. Can his party drop him?

Well, it would be a huge mistake to drop him. And a huge mistake to keep him.

So, yes, Trump is going to botch this one.

Trump's never actually won an election. He squeaked by in the electoral college when he got into office, and there's a possibility he will do so again. But he's been destroyed in the popular vote both times. And he lost the midterms bigly.

At the moment, Kennedy and Stein are polling at about 5-6 percent, collectively. I'm not sure if those are numbers from before Biden dropped out. Because I think they're a drain on the Democratic ticket, not the Republican one.

No one cares about that. They care that Vance was able to overcome very difficult childhood circumstances and achieve success.

Of course the trust fund babies here don’t have a clue— but middle America does. Thank goodness.

I am from Ohio and think the guy is a total fraud. And do all of my family members who live there. We know Middletown isn’t Appalachia. It is all a grift.

Not a Trump supporter— refused to vote for him x 2.

One example here, we have worked extremely hard to be able to pay for our children’s college education without taking out loans. We have a pay as you go mentality, very frugal.

Meanwhile, Biden/Harris are sending my taxes to pay for the loans of those who didn’t bother to plan or save.

I know you could care less, but this is important to folks like me.

DP. He also would have checked the box for geographic diversity. So: list of DEI boxes checked in his application.

You realize that's not how student loan forgiveness works, right?

Same! But I’m happy to help out others get an education. Those students shouldn’t have to pay for their parents not saving. And some of them literally could not.

This isn't how debt forgiveness works. Watch this and you will have a better idea of the issue:
