Article I read tonight in the NYT. Why has the border been busier the past month? Because reading this alarms me, a moderate Democrat. I see Trump using this to his benefit.

There is a crisis and it has been building for some time now.

Democrats are denying it because should they admit this to be true, public opinion may sway in Trump's direction toward building a border barrier. They cannot have this.

In answer to your question, OP. Check a calendar. If you are crossing the border, you don’t do it when temps drop too low at night. Or when it’s 100 plus degrees during the day. Which leaves... bueller? Buelle? Anyone?

The administration abandoned catch and release and started holding everyone, but never made a plan for what they were going to do with those people. So now the facilities are full up, they still do t have a plan, so they’ve started releasing detainees in large numbers to make room. If they’d been releasing people all along, it would have been a smaller, steadier flow the surrounding areas could manage more easily. But instead, they built a dam, then broke the dam, and now are shocked at the flooding,

No need to be alarmed. A bunch of families fleeing violence is not a threat to you. Kim Jung Un continuing to develop a nuclear arsenal unchecked by Donald Trump is a much more serious threat.

North Korea’s nuclear program has made the greatest strides in history under Trump. And it’s contiuning while Trump feeds his base red meat about an unneeded wall.
