I've got no dog in this fight whatsoever but after all of the lacrosse threads I have seen here over the years, the sport seems rife with ne'er do wells.

It seems that all the "other" negative stuff mentioned does not matter to parents. I would guess all parents know of or learn about the truth about the ML guy or Blackwolf guy. The only thing that seems to matter is how teams play. The HS teams are already established and after 8th grade season there is little movement among the clubs. For 7th and 8th grade teams it is clear Madlax is the top DOG in the DMV with two very strong teams. NL and DCE (BLC) are next and about even. VLC is not quite as strong but the best option in N.VA. Blackwolf will need to steal kids away from these programs. The "real story" took place decades ago. Parents did not care then and won't until the talent on the field is not strong enough to get a majority of the team a college offer.

Our team was at the VLC fall tournament and we watched the VLC 23 v NL 23 game. NL by 1 goal. BW tries to poach but must be unsuccessful because their teams aren't very good anymore.
