Um . . I really don't care WHERE the suggestion of fraud came from.

It now appears Smollet did indeed instigate an anti-Trump scheme, and got caught lying to investigators.

The teachable moment here is:

1) the press & politicians showed their biases by attempting to attack the president with this incident, without even the most basic fact-checking or verification; a very dangerous escalation on their part, and

2) the manufactured hate - yes, hate - for our elected president is tearing the country apart! This so-called "resistance" is what's really toxic in today's society. The democrats reliance on the politics of division and hate needs to be called out, exposed, and stopped, for the sake of our union.

Have her back for what? Believing the story when it first came out? Why does anyone need defending against that, a lot of people believed him.

Defending her for her hypocrisy. She was very quick to call an ALLEGED attack a "modern day lynching" and as evidence comes out that it was all staged by Smollett, she suddenly needs to know more.
And, yes, a lot of people believed him only because it met with their preconceived notions. They didn't bother to wait until actual facts emerged. They didn't question an attack that, from the start, appeared to be questionable. They WANTED it to be true.

I haven’t commented before. My bull shit meter was high when he claimed they were shouting “MAGA”. I have not heard anyone shout that at any rallies on TV. Is it a thing? Also who fights for his life with two men and ends up with a one inch scratch on his beloved face? Also something like 95 per cent of letters composed with cut out magazine letters turn out to be hoaxes. The kid re-enacted a bad Columbo episode. He should be required to repay the CPD for the cost of the investigation.

And I still hate the traitor occupyin the White House.

Chicago Police confirming they are investigating a tip that Smollett was in his apt building elevator with the Osundairo brothers the night of the reported incident.

CPD plans to follow up with that witness.
