Does anyone else feel like Sansa is a few notches smarter than Jon? I feel like he made errors before and during the battle and just kept getting himself in far worse positions... Meanwhile Sansa is calm and thinking things out.

And who else thinks Little Finger wants to marry her? "You know what I want"...

Actually, I think Jon and Sansa make the perfect duo. Her brainpower needs his fearlessness and vice versa.

He felt very unsure of himself and almost wimpy and careless to me in the last episode.

He rode and then walked into what looked like certain death and then fought his ass off. I can't see that as wimpy.

Jon is a badass- I loved that he deflected all of Ramsey's arrows then nearly beat him to death. It was great that Sansa was the one to ultimately kill Ramsey. Violent- but he had to go in a spectacular fashion.
I don't think Sansa will be susceptible to Littlefinger because she's tired of being a pawn in the game. I think she wants to control her destiny. If Sansa marries, it will be to an outsider who's is completely loyal (The Hound) or someone capable of viewing her as an equal ((Tyrion). She's given up on knights and saviors- some of the best men she has known have been men she disdained (Jon, Sandor, Tyrion, etc.). Maybe she will make a smart choice.

That's exactly it, he put himself out in the middle of the field with zero protection and fell right into Ramsey's trap just like sansa warned... He seems to have been careless riding out into the openness and putting himself out there. It was impulsive and not well thought out.

She already is married to Tyrion.

What should he have done differently? Sit there and simply watch his little brother make a desperate run for his life?

Although it might have seemed careless, it would not have been Jon's character to react any other way. Unlike most Game of Throne characters, Jon is not calculated, not cold, unfeeling. He's the right mix of compassion, loyalty, duty. Many people find him boring, but he is the emotional anchor (much like Tyrion) that this brutal show needs.

He sort of reminds me of Arygorn from Lord of the Rings -- courageous, loyal, humble, exudes a quiet strength, but plagued by self-doubt.

Jon Snow: cannot be killed on account of he is already dead? or cannot be killed because the Red priestess killed the little girl (Stannis daughter) for her Royal blood and cast a spell? Note how everyone turned away from Jon at the last moment of their charge.

Or did she think it would work better, strategically, if the Knights of the Vale were a surprise at the end of the battle? If so she was probably right but cost thousands of her own people their lives.

She probably didn't know if or when the Vale would show up. Littlefinger was probably waiting a few hills away. Just waiting for the right moment to swoop in and be the hero.

PP is kind of weird and gross but it means that you are rooting for that relation'ship'

YES! He could have so easily been killed but the men all seemed to avoid him and ride past without even attempting to attack him.

And Davos found Shireens toy... What will become of that?

I agree that Sansa is tired of being a pawn, and will seek to do her own thing, but I also think she is oblivious to the way she'll still be manipulated. The thing about people like Littlefinger and Varys is that they make people of power believe that they make their decisions independently.

Agree. I'm trying to figure out where and when PPs observed the wimp factor.

Nothing he would have done would have made any difference for his little brother - there was no way to save him. If thinking practically, he could have sent someone less strategically important than himself forward to try to save him, but it would not have made a difference. Regardless, he could have stood down and not charged afterwards, and waited for Ramsey to come to him, which he agreed the night before was the only strategic way to win the battle with the number of men they had.
