He felt very unsure of himself and almost wimpy and careless to me in the last episode. |
She couldn't have known when they would show up, if at the beginning or the end. I doubt she purposefully allowed her troops to die. The Vale showing up at the end of the battle had to be dumb luck. |
I think she was afraid he'd stop it from happening. She knew what was best and she wasn't offering explanations to anyone anymore. She was making decisions to do what she thought was best, while the men in her life behaved as she knew they would. |
I want to hear the conversation between Sansa and Jon... Jon: Good move, Sansa... Sansa: I told you we needed more troops... Jon: derp.... |
I think maybe because knows what a snake little finger is and might have talked her out of it. |
They are setting up increasing conflict/tension between them and little finger will make sure the divide grows. It will be too much of a happy ending if two Starks are able to fight together and win back their home and live happily ever after. Jon cannot stay at winterfell. I'm hoping he'll eventually find his way to the iron throne with dany and one other. |

Recall Sansa withheld from Jon the fact that she had even met Littlefinger, so Jon had no idea that there was even an army available and on its way. Otherwise I believe he would've waited. Littlefinger knew that the so-called Starks did not have enough men and waited in the wings so he could swoop in and help save the day. He's also been grooming Sansa for seasons now. He has her right where he wants her -- thinking she can take things into her own hands, become wardess of the north with him as her betrothed. He probably thought he had nothing to lose by marrying her off to Ramsey -- had she died, he could've outwit Ramsey or at least wait for his inevitable fall, or he could be the hero and help save her.
Jon Snow has little fight in him except in cases of the heart e.g., his family. I think Sansa made a completely selfish move not even telling Jon about the army of the Vale before they headed to the veil or the night when she told him Ramsey would do something unexpected. She's now in it to win it at this game of thrones. Now she's going to pull on Jon's heartstrings and make him bend the knee to her. Her snobbery as a legitimate child of Ned Stark has reawakened. BTW it was satisfying to see that Jon left a little something of Ramsey for Sansa. As much as I wanted to see him die, I couldn't help losing respect for Sansa. There was no nobleness in the way she made her move. She's become Cersei. Still wonder whether she'll give birth to the spawn of Ramsey. |
veil = field of battle |
You are SO SO SOOOOOOO WRONG. She gave him the most perfect of deaths, the most deserved of deaths. Ramsay died the way he lived and by the very method that he inflicted on so many innocents. It was perfection and Sansa did it right. |

How the hell did Littlefinger and a few thousand men on horseback "sneak" up on Winterfell? Both the Boltons and the Starks would have had scouts posted and would have received word that a major army was approaching. It just seemed like a plot hole.
And how did Dany's dragons escape? They've been unchained for a while now and haven't escaped. |
| Ramsey did say he lives on in her (or something like that). If she's not pregnant than he did something nasty to her. Made her drink his blood or something like that. |
It rang sort of untrue to me. Sansa is coming into her own, which is great, but we've never seen any evidence before of Jon being unsure of himself or careless. |
I took it to mean that she would never stop being affected by how he abused her. But maybe I'm wrong. |
Sorry, I agree about Ramsey's death -- totally spot on, but as for her play on the battlefield, that was terrible that she withheld the information. |
It was implied that she let them loose before she met with the three masters. |
