Who would you prefer make the decisions?

I don’t have a problem with them making the decisions but bothers me when they pretend they aren’t.

Hey to all of the FCPS employees here, this where you need to post an update about the site. Edit this text. You know, at the link that was sent to 280000 families. This stuff isn’t rocket science.

You’re not an FCPS grad are you?

Can the grammar police please go away??

Your posts are not helpful, and while they may make you FEEL superior, the end result is the complete opposite. You appear to be too stupid to post anything useful.

P.S. I'm not the person you're correcting. This is my first time checking DCUM in two days, I just find you incredibly annoying and useless.

They could also post pdf files online to share the maps.

Send emails to school board.

Grammar police? Is this an official FCPS department? We need an investigation into this immediately. I demand answers and action.

The longer this goes on, the less I believe it is a software issue. There has to be PDFs of this somewhere. Wouldn’t you have a back up plan?

Yeah. What consulting company isn’t prepared?

This seems sketchy now.

“October 11 Update: We apologize for the delay in posting the updated maps. We are continuing to work to resolve a technical issue with the Boundary Explorer Tool, and we expect the maps to be posted prior to the first community meeting. Thank you for your patience.”

New update… ‘prior to the first community meeting…’

Is it a possibly because of KAA?

Reid said the map for new Western school will be ready by October 30. I think it makes sense to wait until then for Scenario 4 and Scenario 5 which should include KAA.

So 6:29 pm Monday? This is utterly ridiculous. Whatever good faith they had is gone now.

Then why not just say that?

They could have delayed this weeks ago.

It isn't fair to the families in Centerville and Robinson that they can't see the maps before their meeting Monday night. That meeting needs to be changed. These people are absolutely incompetent.

But if that’s the case, why put up the 10/10 date to begin with and schedule all the meetings?

You can believe what they're saying or not, but the messaging back in individual emails is that they ran into coding issues.

You'd think they would have overcome those issues before they released the prior maps, but it could be different people assigned to updating them.
