Any abuse of residency is troubling, but I really don't think it is affecting the membership of schools to the degree that you think it is.

FWIW, I do think there should be checks, but I don't think it will get the results you think.

The amount of Maryland tags in the Edison HS student parking and kiss and ride line is astronomical. It would absolutely have an impact if residency was enforced.

Edison coaches are known to recruit.

That is not believable based on team records.

There is enough to criticize fcps on this rezoning process without completely making up things.

Is there a date for the final school board vote on boundaries? So we can have this officially “done” until the next review.

Mid January?

Many students have to pick their courses by next week (Dec. 19). Families in areas suggested to be moved in Scenerio 4 are in total limbo. School counselors have received zero guidance from Gatehouse on how to handle and students are stuck in the middle. One final finger to parents and children after a crappy and ineffective 'comprehensive' boundary review process. I can not believe they did not think of this ahead of time when they set a Jan deadline.
