Seriously. I went in there once and it was just trashy. And yet, exactly what you would expect from her. It’s sad she and Fritsch were the best Fairfax Dems could do.

So looks like that's one bunch of people fully ready for a strong start on August 23.

Is she incapable of common sense?

I mean for crying out loud!!

A bunch of clueless idiots who are likely transmitting COVID to each other so more and more unvaccinated children are put at risk when school starts in 18 days. That's the reason for outrage.

Those aren’t teachers—they’re principals and other admin— but don’t let reality get in the way of your hurt feelings.

I’m a teacher. As I understand it, we don’t have to wear a mask when we return to work next Friday. Based on these pictures I won’t get into trouble if I don’t mask while students aren’t there. I can see a situation in which some administrations put pressure on staff to wear masks because it is “strongly encouraged”.

Northam has mandated that all state employees show proof of Covid vaccination by 9/1/21 or get tested weekly.

I’d bet money that Fairfax County adopts this policy by the end of the week.

In school year 2020-2021 kids were more likely to get COVID when not in school. School is a controlled environment with mitigations. If cases are rising that’s an argument to get kids in school.

Not when we're talking about a variant of COVID that's 100% more contagious than the strain faced by people during the 2020-21 school year.

I am so glad I teach high school. I don’t want to see my students get sick.

You really think that all of your high school students are vaccinated?

I don't even understand what you are arguing about here?

Who cares if they are teachers or admins? They are FCPS employees who are disregarding FCPS rules about indoor mask wearing.

Are you trying to say it's ok since they are principals, but it would be a problem if they were teachers?

WTF?

What are they disregarding? Teachers aren't required to wear masks if students aren't in the building.

She isn’t my fave, but they had pretty obviously just finished lunch (box lunches in tables). That will be your kids in the cafeteria in a few weeks!!!

People are more dunking on Cohen for being a moron then the Admins.

Belle Jar. Yes, really. As has been mentioned, not the sharpest tool.

About two more weeks another variant will show up.

Good luck anti vaxer trumpets. The rest of us will be fine. You will sink with DT and his criminal family.

If by “anti vaxxer Trumpers” you mean “incredibly poor people living in slum conditions in poor countries with limited access to healthcare and Covid vaccines” then sure.

Do you ever get tired of spitting out the same senseless drivel?

We get it, you didn’t like Trump. This is Fairfax county, he lost by like 30%, none of us did either.

FEA and FCFT will fight that because their national leaders have already freaked out about vaccine mandates.

As a vaccinated parent of ES kids (who is under a vaccine mandate at work) I would be thrilled.

Time will tell.

https://www.edweek.org/teaching-learning/teachers-unions-have-opposed-vaccine-mandates-but-that-may-change/2021/08

Despite arguing in the spring that teachers should be prioritized for the COVID-19 vaccine, state and national teachers’ unions have so far been reluctant to support a mandate. But that might soon change, according to new comments from the powerful head of the American Federation of Teachers.

Locally there has been no real talk about it.

She no longer has the store. She sold it, but people still like to rag on her for it.
