If they get it now, then kids will be at little risk when school starts. Health department doesn't even ask for negative tests for kids to go back to school after that many days. |
Not a few weeks, I agree. But today is only 8/5 - let’s see where we are by mid/late September? |
Let me guess, you only read the COVID panic stuff. How many times a day to you check Eric Liang Feigl-Ding twitter? (FYI, he sent his kids to school in person in Austria last year). Cases will spike in the next two weeks then start to drop like a rock. The schools that opened this week down south have a much tougher hand delt to them then us who don't start school until late August. Stay calm and carry on (to in person school, five days a week with teachers present). |
Those aren’t teachers—they’re principals and other admin— but don’t let reality get in the way of your hurt feelings. |
I don't even understand what you are arguing about here? Who cares if they are teachers or admins? They are FCPS employees who are disregarding FCPS rules about indoor mask wearing. Are you trying to say it's ok since they are principals, but it would be a problem if they were teachers? WTF? |
Do you actually read anything beyond panic porn headlines? Have you tracked how waves manifest/dissipate across variants? Did you actually track how Delta impacted unvaccinated children in the UK? Are you going to be disappointed when Delta doesn't actually close the schools this fall? |
So now Admin doesn’t interact with kids? |
Or teachers? IN March/April 2020, there was spread happening after schools closed, with teachers and staff in fewer rooms. |
You aren't making any sense right now at all. |
DP To be fair, current FCPS rules state (from an email on Tuesday): masks will be required for everyone, regardless of vaccination status, inside FCPS school buildings when students are present. As of Monday, August 2, all FCPS staff – both in offices and schools – are strongly encouraged to wear a mask at all times indoors: So, with no students present they were within the current rule which doesn’t require masks, but does strongly encourage them. |
Again, idiots. |
This is why West Springfield cancelled all student activities, otherwise masks would have needed to be worn because students would have been in the building Administrators not wearing masks is more important than football practice and any student activity. The hypocrisy is killing me, can’t believe Laura Jane posted for all to see. What a simpleton. |
To be fair, when you call her a simpleton, it isn’t an insult. It’s just a fact. |
What are they disregarding? Teachers aren't required to wear masks if students aren't in the building. |

Also Cohen’s store in Clifton is absolute trash.
I collect and restore mid century modern furniture as a hobby. The crap she sells in there is hardly a step above good will. |
