Science is a fickle beast. Honestly, i wouldn’t worry about it. It’s a fringe website. |
I would rather drink windex than ever teach online again and I’m vaccinated. What’s the benefit for teachers to sign this? |
Some people in FFX County just enjoy teacher bashing too much. They don’t want to give it up. We’re like “immigrants” to the Republicans in Texas and Florida - the root of all societal ills. |
I think it's pretty much been parent-on-parent violence all summer this time. Teachers have largely been "been there, done that, I need to get back in the classroom this year". |
Not too many teachers but lots of very nervous and very “online” parents. They’re all over the comments sections of all articles about back to school. |
From what I can tell from most of my teacher friends this isn’t even on their radar. |
Cause we know it’s not happening. The state bill prohibits it. |
Someone posted this is another thread https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2021/08/the-u-k-s-delta-surge-is-collapsing-will-ours.html It looks like the delta surge is only for a month and then it collapses. |
| It is true. India and the UK went through it. |

Eric Topol has posted why it doesn't look like this will stop soon in the US
The FDA needs to get the EUA out for kids 11 and under STAT |

Who said schools are driving this wave? The wave is happening over summer break. Many are afraid that in person opening of school in the midst of the wave will make it worse. Also, where in the US would schools have opened in full for 4 months after delta took hold? Lastly, that tweet is from July 23. Things are rapidly shifting by the week. |
