No, they are all leagues.

Actually the only way ECNL or any league can claim to the one true top league is that no less than 2/3s of all ECNL teams would be capable of beating ALL GAL teams.

As long as there is a level of comparative parity all ECNL is is the BIGGEST national league.

Well, GAL (DPL) is not the competitor for which the comparison should be made. In fact, there is no league in this nation that will offer comparison.

I'm not knocking "GAL" for what it is. I'm knocking posters for claiming it is something its not.

This is all so entertaining. I don't understand the problem with having the GA and the ECNL. People like options. I recently moved and the GA club is a lot more convenient for my family. My daughter played in the CCL, ODP Region 1 top 18, and DA. Never ECNL, because it wasn't convenient for our family. That doesn't mean she's not good enough play ECNL or ECNL doesn't want her, doesn't mean she doesn't like the ECNL, just means that she's taking a different path. She has participated in ODP with lots of ECNL girls and has stood out against the vast majority. Why did I say all of this? To say that the badge doesn't matter and stop trying to say there should only be on elite league. One size does not fit all.
