The club itself has a lot of good parents. This forum has a couple of hostiles that persist in attacking everyone. Don't base your opinion of MU (or any club) based on the jackasses that live here. Most parents don't even know this garbage can of a forum exists. Contact George @ ghales@washspirit.com. I wouldn't put much value in the scrimmage results. Some age groups weren't even represented and others had non-club players joining in who had no background in playing at this level, were missing key players, and so on. It was also used as a chance to give time to non-starters and EDP players who aren't in the DA. This year is a mixed bag. Spirit was dead weight. Next year will be a new chapter. I'd say reach out to the staff and find out about what's on the horizon. They are cutting players not ready for this level, eliminating playing players up beyond their ability to compete, and committing to smaller rosters. |

As an 05 parent at a local DA, spirit brings up a 1-0 win they had in a showcase regularly. That’s usually before or after bringing up the pda 05 vs fcv 05 result. It’s probably just one dad whose daughter did not make fcv or the 2 above average ecnl 05 teams in the area. |

As already explained, it wasn't the real teams. Please see previous post. It was to give time to non-starters, EDP players, they used it as an ID session and had players there that haven't ever even practiced with Spirit, and normal key players were missing from some of the rosters. I'd be much more interested in seeing it in August with a true team to team match up. |
