If I had to guess, he will be charged after the holidays. Her hearing date could always be slow walked if they think that might be fruitful.

That IS an interesting question, no? And maybe the reason both lied and said Brendan was the shooter.

Had he been teaching her to fire it, going to range together, etc.? Don't suppose that was on her IG?

A few things not yet addressed by police:
-Where's the knife? Is this a kitchen knife?
-Who has wounds from the knife attack? Usually a killer will get scratched during the struggle.
-Bloody clothes and rags? Are there blood traces in the rest of the house?
-LEOs almost always have security and surveillance at their home. Ring doorbell camera footage from family home + adjacent neighbors?

Way too many gaps in this case for these two to get away with it.

The only open question still in my mind is whether Brendan (1) actively helped in the premediated plotting with the AP or (2) merely tried to help cover-up for the AP after the fact.

His blatant lie along with his clamming up to police leads me to believe the AP did this spur of the moment and he was trying to help her cover-it-up.

This is what I thought too, until I realized the AP is still in house taking care of daughter. Is he that stupid?

This is all too messy to have been in planned in advance IMO

Wow, super interesting that it didn’t have the hashtag. I don't think thats an oversight. Every post she has made since the summer has had that hashtag.

Also worth noting that JR was shot multiple times. Not sure if that indicates panic or serious intent to kill on the part of who was holding the gun.

Go back to the first day, the evening press conference and listen to the words. Referred to both husband and au pair as "present and involved" for example. The words, body language and tone of LE throughout in statements and interviews.

^ another, consistently referring to Joe as a "victim" rather than "the deceased" or "perp" or "stabber" and day of completely dismissing home invasion story of 911 call. Making it clear that husband was not cooperating.

Those kinds of signals. More were in interview with chief last night, and with cop with am. Some have been shared with public, others with friends and family of Joe, some are in first locked thread or were deleted from WS or are on Reddit. But, you get the gist. From the start LE believed that husband and au pair were responsible for murdering 2 people in cold blood, with a 4 year old in the home, and trying to lie their way out of it. That has been conveyed in signals to both the public and the suspects.

Indeed, for example:

"The pair entered the home, only to discover that Christine Banfield had been stabbed."

Even if she did enter the house and discover this, she didn't enter with BB since he wasn't present at the time of shooting according to police.
