Trying your patience? How odd.

You are fully capable of ignoring threads about them, not thinking about them, and saving yourself the emotion of being angry about them.

You don’t do that because you enjoy shit posting about them. At least, admit that.

I promise you that well-adjusted people don’t go looking for people who “try their patience.”

Why are you guys so desperate to defend them? I'm genuinely curious - I don't see any other thread about any other celebrity get people who defend them so zealously. This is an anonymous chat board. I find it fun to take a few minutes of my life to snark on these objectively annoying yet entertaining rich people who have no bearing on my life.
I think it is a reaction to the posters that do the opposite. The animosity some posters on this board and, apparently, others have is mind boggling.

^ This. I despise internet bullying and that’s what many of these posters are. It’s their inner mean girls coming out and it makes you wonder if they are this mean to others in their daily lives. Internet bullying can be very harmful to the recipient.

Sorry but I think falsely accusing a family of racism was disgusting and I don't understand how anyone supports them.

How can you write this with a straight face hahaha. Falsely accusing the family that basically created and propped up colonialism of racism? That concept is a walking logical fallacy.

Harry walked back the accusation himself in an interview with Tom Bradby. He said the media spun it to make it seem like Meghan called his family racist but, in fact, Harry and Meghan don’t think the family is racist.

There was no media spin on this. Meghan very carefully laid out a trail of accusations and dots to connect without using the word racist and let Oprah walk into the trap then endorsed her conclusion. It was very crafty and done extremely carefully with an eye for both maximum sensationalism and legal implications, she planned every word. She was unambiguous in saying that her children would not get a title and “around the same time” there were conversations about what color skin her baby would have, she absolutely intended to imply the titles were denied bc of skin color, which is an absolutely false stinking heap of excrement and both she and Harry fully knew it at the time of the interview.

As others have explained the no-prince/Princess-titles-at-birth was based on existing protocol that had already equally affected Andrew’s offspring.

They are shameless liars pure and simple. They should have been sued for libel but the Crown had no jurisdiction to do so plus Megs had carefully parsed words to make others say it for her. This is why Oprah no longer speaks to them.

Oprah told you this?

Don't pick fights with the police and the media. They are dragging everybody into their mess. Now people will probably snoop around to find out who they were staying with, which they wanted to avoid in the first place.

https://pagesix.com/2023/05/19/harry-meghans-nyc-car-chase-happened-because-they-were-too-cheap-to-pay-for-hotel-source/

I don’t believe this. They signed over $100 million worth of deals and they were not poor even before that. Why would they need to bargain for a hotel room?

At the time, it was reported that $100 million was the potential value of the deal, not an upfront payment. Who knows what they’ve actually been paid. Harry’s book royalties must be significant, but didn’t he commit to give them to charity?

In any case, their burn rate has to be enormous — full time staff, flying private, security, maintaining that big house…. All the stuff that they didn’t have to pay for themselves when they lived in the UK. I suspect what it costs to maintain their lifestyle was a shock to Harry.

Assuming they made the entire $100M, which is highly unlikely, especially given that Netflix has canceled some of their proposed shows, they would have taken home maybe half after paying taxes, agents, attorneys, etc. While
this would be enough for the average DCUMer to live a life of luxury forever, it won’t fund their Montecito lifestyle for 10 years. In 10 years from now, I suspect their money making potential will have completely dried up.

LOL! To that poster-- I like Oprah...but you are silly...she benefited financially and " buzz-wise" from doing the interview.

100%. This is the issue. I think he thought by marrying a commoner American he could have his quiet life. He would have been better off with a rich aristocratic Brit with a country home so they could still “step back” but live in the UK and have money (hers.)

None of those rich Brits were interested.

How do you guys believe she craves paparazzi while also believing she left the BRF (and the endless pap) for made up reasons?

You are full of shit. 😅😅

You’re not making any sense, and lack the basic intelligence to even understand that.

She wants to be beloved and she wants to be in charge. Neither of which were happening in the UK.

Yes! That’s what a lot of people aren’t really getting here. Oprah undoubtedly made a ton of money off that interview. She brought us Dr Oz and Dr Phil, so obviously cares less about quality content and more about what will generate the most ROI. Same goes for all the random people online spewing hate. Megyn Kelly talks about them regularly, and it makes no sense why she would when her brand is just “conservative stuff.” But there’s a whole industry around celebrity drama and right now, the most $$ is in hating Meghan markle. Obviously she saw some overlap in her audience and people who don’t like Markle (I wonder what that could be) and it seems to be working for her.

OK, so she doesn’t crave the paps?

I’ll be honest, it’s clear that you guys are making up things about Meghan to fit the narrative du jour.

Right now, that's everyone. So it's not surprising that there would be an overlap between her audience and everyone. It would be surprising if there weren't.

They got plenty of publicity for this event and Meghan looked lovely in the gold dress. No one’s talking about any of that now.

Oh, absolutely. Every basic white woman does not like Meghan Markle. 100%.

If you have a diverse circle, you’ll be exposed to different opinions.
