Isn't this the same woman who wrote "7: An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess"?

Yeah, after pre-ordering one of Brandon's books and being promised a "personal journal" and then receiving a stapled, paper pamphlet, I have zero faith in any promises made by Jen or Brandon.

That was not a great book launch...I was on the advanced reader team and remember thinking that maybe Jen wrote half of it.

Jen must rue the day she wrote "7". I wish she could find a way to have some peace in her life.

Me, too. The peace thing, that is. Although part of me wanted to ask, "Is he high?" regarding the Caleb and watching 2001: A Space Odyssey post. Because I'm pretty sure that movie is only good if you're high.
And agreed that Jen probably wrote half of Brandon's books.

Do you think influencers like Jen ever get tired of the constant stream of bullshit they spew out into the universe?

It must be exhausting, right?

Always posing, skyways scheming, always putting in a false front.
Anonymous
Influencers think that people are waiting to hear their take on everything. It's a crazy mental state. The way Tyler talks, reassuring his audience that yes, he sees you, is pure ego which he presents as caring.

Jen's recent tribe of exvangelicals are the most demanding pharisees around. She walks back so much commentary she must get whiplash. Her comments sections are slugfests at times and she just sits back and watches.

Her children all seem to be healthy and doing fine. She lives in a gorgeous house in a great city. She has long-standing and close friendships.

I’m not saying that there isn’t a ton to snark on if that’s your thing but why is it so unbelievable that she could actually be happy?

Buda is not a great city.

Buda is a booming little town right outside Austin. It’s pretty country but a lot of people are moving there from all over the place and it had a real estate boom like everyone else in central Texas.

I think Big Sis and Brandon once had high hopes of doing to Buda what the Gaines’ did for Waco.

Did y'all see Jen and Tyler's promo for their Dream Again tour she recently posted? He's talking and she looks the most uninterested I've ever seen her. Usually when she's onscreen with Tyler she has the biggest smile and googly eyes and there was none of that. Maybe the end is near, as soon as this tour is over.

I hope so, because I think she could do so much better and I'm also a little sick of Tyler the "activist" who only ever talks about old white people when they die and seems to have all white friends.

I love Yelled at By a Clown but I have absolutely no desire to watch Jen and Tyler interview Nate. The promo clip Jen posted was atrocious. Maybe Nate is also boring off script.

Jen and Tyler have no chemistry. There are some couples who look very different and come from very different lives and yet manage to have amazing rhythm and energy together. Jen and Tyler, even after a year and a half together, look super forced.

He corrects her ALL the time, and she acts like it's just cute banter.

They are promoting this "dreams coming alive again" horribly...they have no substantive agenda, acting in their promo as if their wild tangents are meaningful, when it's just unfocused and empty. She is saying hop on a plane to go see them, but there is no core to it. "Baby, we're selling lots of tickets" she tells him. There is no concrete plan to their appearances...it's sad.

Anyone I know who is influencer-like (posts a lot of curating things about themselves weekly or daily) is a dishonest person. If people don’t know their context from afar they seem successful, honest, admirable. But up close there’s so many lies - usually half truths or slight distortions but when you zoom in you see just how fragmented that image can be and the lies kind of explode. I don’t know any big influencers but they’re the same as the smaller circle ones I know -you can kind of tell that they’re dishonest by what Jen does - overwriting, exaggerating, grandiosity vibe. Embellish details. Taking a small social encounters and adding a whole new story and twist to it so it sounds better or more familiar and ends up as a humble brag and virtue signal for the person posting.

Taking normal day to day things and talking about it in a way that it makes you and to the people reading seem like you’re one of the few people doing/thinking about this very normal thing.

That interview was so uncomfortable to watch. Both Jen and Tyler we're trying to prove that they are hip to the comedy scene. Nate actually responded at one point with, “Yeah, uh, I don't know what to say.” basically it was like they were making the conversation about them instead of engaging him in an actual interview.

That interview was cringe. Tyler has not an ounce of affection towards Jen.
And did you see the new post from the future daughter in law, of course Texas Barbie looks like the real Barbie with her pink sash, so this tells me her and Jen have definitely met before because surely this was not the first time they were in the same room. Let’s be honest though, Tina chose wisely on her attire. What was Jen thinking though? I know she must have a hard time being around her, wonder if Tina wears that big fake ring Brando got her? Either way, I give them both respect for getting along during what is meant to be happy memories. But I cannot imagine how Jen feels sitting next to Tina at any occasion.
Jen, go find a hot man that can tolerate your nonsense and sit next to Brandon so things are not so unfair.
