I keep hearing that APS is so much better than ACPS, but then I look at the list below and think, "meh, what's the big deal about APS?" Pretty underwhelming college acceptance list.

It's not better or worse than other Northern VA HSs.
Not counting TJ which draws from a few school systems. |

| Is OP referring to FCPS? (not ACPS)? if so, folks on DCUM aren't saying HS's in APS are better than FCPS. Maybe a few, but hardly the majority from what I read on DCUM |

| No, ACPS. TC's list of college acceptances is nothing to write home about, but then again, neither is Arlington's (four high schools combined). |

100% Acceptance to NVCC - Annandale. W&L only 5 of 6. NVCC - Alexandria only 7 of 19, it must be much more selective? |

| YHS had a paltry 2.5% admission rate to Ivies last year (3 acceptances out of 118 applications). I feel sorry for anyone who bought in North Arlington for the schools. |
