FCV ECNL

“Sleep with dogs, wake up with fleas”. FCV parents finding this out. The club deserves to be locked out because FCV has been a pariah in the local soccer scene for 10 years recruiting players, double crossing “partner” clubs, etc

As a result of the changing times, ECNL should allow FCV to play. This enables top Clubs in the area to play many competitive games with little travel. Then clubs can travel for regional and national showcases to play outside of the local area.

It has been great for the GA and ECNL teams to scrimmage each other this past year. This is what local families want. To stay local and play meaningful games.

No club has a rockstar team in every age group. The Metro area has enough soccer players where 6 localish clubs could be ECNL members with their top team playing in ECNL.

The egos of these club owners is ridiculous. I am tired of the turf wars. Let Arlington and FCV be ECNL members. The better competition should be desired by all local clubs. I know that Arlington is already in ECNL. Now let in FCV too and there will be a great local region for competition that all players and families should welcome. It should be about the kids and playing soccer, not egos.

Has anyone asked the question why FCV is not being accepted back by ECNL. Does anyone know?

Nobody cares what you’re tired of...and your ego seems pretty.

I think it’s hilarious that people don’t understand this simple fact.....

The players make FCV. Not the other way around. Once the good kids leave, it’s adios amigo

Springfield and Leesburg ain’t Bradenton. Good luck with that.

Apparently you don’t understand the amount of
Kids in private school. Lots of money around here. And parents love paying. You

Not the money, the location. But I guess we’ll see. There is a lot of money here as you say. Where’s the school in all this? Does TSJ have one?

I don’t know the logistics. I do know it’s been proposed.

Same teams, different leagues. ECNL, CCL, MLS Next, English Premiere League West, La Liga DC conference, 07's are good in one league, 06's in another, blah blah blah. Let's have 3000 teams in a nationwide league, then a tournament with them, ya that makes a lot of sense. The one who wins obviously has the best players at all 11 positions right? Wrong.

Just one top league. ECNL

Oh so it’s no longer GA > ECNL?

Both leagues have good and bad teams: Just FCV has better teams in the DMV than surrounding clubs. So, it would benefit everyone to have the club back in ECNL. Or as others have pointed out, without better GA competition for FCV those age groups younger than 05 should be looking elsewhere. But this has been argued enough.

It benefits no one to have FCV in ECNL except FCV.

A fool and their money are soon parted, that is also true. I’d actually like to see this and have 90% of FCV parents pay way too much for way too little in return and let their precious little princesses play in a little arrogant bubble. Sounds good to me.
