They are. And guess who’s not in the top bracket for 07g? Loudoun. What a bunch of losers and crooks.

What about 08 and 09?

Once unhappy Loudoun players come over, we'll be in the top bracket.

How many wins over Loudoun does the FCV 07 + FCV 08 + FCV 09 teams have? Why would folks leave for losers?

Or drive all the way to Springfield for practices when FCV can no longer practice at Evergreen? No thanks.

As a result of the changing times, ECNL should allow FCV to play. This enables top Clubs in the area to play many competitive games with little travel. Then clubs can travel for regional and national showcases to play outside of the local area.

It has been great for the GA and ECNL teams to scrimmage each other this past year. This is what local families want. To stay local and play meaningful games.

No club has a rockstar team in every age group. The Metro area has enough soccer players where 6 localish clubs could be ECNL members with their top team playing in ECNL.

The egos of these club owners is ridiculous. I am tired of the turf wars. Let Arlington and FCV be ECNL members. The better competition should be desired by all local clubs. I know that Arlington is already in ECNL. Now let in FCV too and there will be a great local region for competition that all players and families should welcome. It should be about the kids and playing soccer, not egos.

Has anyone asked the question why FCV is not being accepted back by ECNL. Does anyone know?

When they left, the basically told ECNL to F themselves as FCV had found a new/better/shiny path for high level soccer and gave them the middle finger as they walked out the door. Think they might be now regretting that exit strategy.

Isn’t TT aka “Mr. Fingerbang” a coach at FCV?

As a long timer as a FCV parent. These posts are well discussed amongst the parents. Nothing new here. But most families including ourselves are in too deep to risk moving to another club.

Agreed. We deal with it. Honest conversations w the DD helps but very eye opening for our DD. See something say something

He doesn’t go by that name anymore. As I posted before, he promised that he would NOT repeat the behaviour that got him fired from Spirit. People deserve second chances.

Rumour has it the ex spirit ceo disrespected the fcv td like Benny Blanco when he applied for a coaching position at Spirit. That explains a lot.

If BP went to BRYC some parents would follow but many will not. He lied to parents and TSJ about the potential of GA in a effort to keep teams together. Most people could see GA for what it was, a bridge league to keep kids in the recruiting process on track.

FCV’s successful teams were well established before BP arrived but the teams in the youngest age groups are barely competitive. This is due to several factors, FCV’s non-existent Rec program.

Under BP’s watch FCV lost the boys side to a competing club who then purchased Evergreen, kicking FCV out of Loudoun. They hired a former disgraced Spirit coach. They were the prior employer of disgraced Spirit coach Burke.

They have no fields, no youth player pool, participate in a second rate failing league.
