Based on NYTimes reporting, they didn't know that funds had been withheld until a month after the phone call.

Actually, no. Read the first paragraph of the article. It explicitly says that Zelensky believed that the money was on it's way at the time of the phone call. They did not receive word of the holdup until a month after the call. The word of the holdup came via a letter a month after the phone call.

Yes, they were waiting, hoping the funds would post any minute, any day... Constantly checking the bank account until they finally heard that the funds had officially been withheld with no reason given. Pure panic. For months.

He only had knowledge of a complaint, he didn't know who or the nature. All his staff did was tell them to file a complaint with the IG, which is the law. Nothing more. We don't know any of this to be true. All we have is what Schiff has said. And, the fact that he hid his staff's contact with the whistleblower indicates he has something to hide.
And, there was no crime by Trump.
