The Justice Department told White House personnel on Wednesday that they must preserve all presidential records, including any notes regarding President Donald Trump's meetings and phone calls with foreign leaders.

“DOJ says the Trump administration will voluntarily give its assurance to not destroy records about Trump's and other officials' convos with foreign leaders — a judge yesterday strongly urged them to do this and avoid a messy legal fight.”
