I’m curious too. Both teams are appear to have almost identical starts to the season. SR beat up on a JC team that is clearly having a down year. Neither team has a win against a top tier team.

It seems negative for SR. STAB is struggling this year. Maybe important for SR to get a W after a number of tough losses. In line with someone’s predictions on here a number of weeks back, seems like SR is out of top 25 now on most (maybe all?) lists.

They probably would have wanted a bigger margin, but STAB is pretty good and a tough out at home. Not sure why you say they are struggling. Playing top teams from IAAM and ISL will result in some losses for just about any school. Losses to Maryvale, which could be the best team in the country, and St Mary’s, another IAAM power who claims a “win” in their season opening scrimmage against SSSAS and has only lost to Archbishop Spalding, are no embarrassment.

How did you know that? Salty parent of kid who doesn’t play. Or did you spend your Saturday watching HUDL livestreams of HS games?

No not sure any other school in the ISL has a schedule that even comes close to being as difficult. Nearly all of their early games or scrimmages were against top 25 teams - and they play 10-11 of top 25 the whole season depending on rankings week to week.

Someone already conclusively explained why injury whining is weak. But since you want a comparison, SJC played without 4 returning starters including 3 of their 4 defenders, and a key middle. So........

Was SJC missing their flop specialist?

Ok. But if you don’t win against any of them …. If your point is that they will be prepared well for ISL play that is true. But I’m not sure what else it proves.

Pretty sure each game was one goal difference, with OT winners.

So does that mean it’s true?

Was St Paul’s a scrimmage? That did not go to overtime.

Obviously Mcdonogh and Maryvale didn’t go to OT and scrimmage or not, it was not close.

NDP and St Mary’s aren’t traditionally strong IAMM teams.

Always surprised SR doesn’t play Spalding. Would seem to be a good match up.

These are probably the reasons have fallen out of top 25. A loss is a loss, just like a win is a win. NDP and St Mary’s were not in top 25 before the game with SR.

PVI has a tough game against a VA public, Battlefield, today. Will they uphold the WCAC’s honor?
