Lost 12-10 to Sidwell in the final after beating them 8-7 early on in the regular season. Two pretty evenly matched teams. Does anyone know if regular season champion or playoff champion advances to AA for next year?

This post did not age well. SR is a good team with talented players, but they just got dominated by a SSSAS team in every phase, including coaching. SSSAS went out to a 3-0 lead, and it was never close, it was 8-4 at half and 12-6 after 3Q, and an 8 goal game with 7 min left. It could’ve been a 10 goal game easily if SSSAS didn’t take their foot off the gas. None of this is a negative on SR, it just was a different class of play today. It happens when you have experienced players who are very good individually and play well as a team. Congrats to both teams on good ISL seasons, lots of quality players on both sides who will be playing in college.

Regular season champion, so NCS.

Misleading. Sidwell did win the A bracket tournament championship game today 12-10 over NCS. Congratulations to Sidwell. NCS won the regular season A championship and went undefeated, including a win over Sidwell, so NCS is moving up to the AA bracket next year with a stacked team of returning freshman and sophomores - 4 of them did not play today due to injury. Sidwell returns to A next season.

Always an excuse.

Congratulations SSSAS!

100%. SR parents are AA champs at making excuses…every year.

This is the first year in a while they've had to make an excuse since they won the championship for the last 3 years in a row, but ok.

I went to the Sr-SSSAS game, who is the purple team that played Sidwell after that? Did the purple team win?

Yes, the purple team won when it mattered, during the regular season, so will be playing in AA next season. Sidwell lost when it mattered so will stay in the lower division.

Let's take it easy on NCS. Continuously picking at them because of an over-exuberant Freshman dad who calmed down weeks ago, is bullying at this point. They had a tough loss today, are likely facing another one next week or so in DCSAA. They will have a season of thumping in ISL AA ahead too. Let them celebrate their promotion in peace!

This is funny. The most arrogant people and they deserve it. He hasn't calmed down FYI in person which is worse.

SJC is in far better hands with its current skipper. Current coach is building something very strong. Coach Hate: savor this one. Treasure every moment. After this year, your reign on the WCAC is over.

Yes! Bring back Coach Mindy. She was kind and actually knew the girls. Coach Hillary is a narcissist and keeps having the girls take the "L" due to her poor coaching. Can't wait to see how she will screw up the DCSAA.

I was actually driving by the National Cathedral today for the EU Open Houses and didn't see a purple school. I did see St. Albans, but they had red doors on everything. Are you sure this NCS is a real place?

Saving this one. Hilariously ignorant take. NCS roster is loaded with returning young talent and will be doing the thumping next year.
