That song is clearly about Joe and exemplifies why this is all nonsense. Leave all of these people alone.

Taylor is still crying over Joe? Must be tough for Travis to watch her sing/cry over her Exes after almost a year together.

No she is not. How Did It End is about Matty Healy. She got over Joe a long time ago. They broke up in 2022 but kept the news quiet for a while so it wouldn’t overshadow the release of Midnights and the hype about her Eras tour ticket sales that fall of ‘22.

She was never 💯 in it with Joe, always kept the door open for Matty. Which is why she wrote him all those songs while she was with Joe, all those years... End Game, Cardigan, August, Maroon, Illicit Affairs, Death By A Thousand Cuts, Cowboy Like Me, Glitch, Slut! etc. All for Matty Healy.

She wrote song about how she imagined dating him would be like, not what dating him is like.

Then she dated him and wrote smallest man who ever lived and Peter and she turned the light off.

You conveniently chose 1-2 songs from TTPD but not the other 15. She loves Matty, still. The Fortnight video alone is proof enough.

All the nice ones are about Joe and Travis. All the hate is for druggie Matty.

taylor could be a very immature woman focusing on imaginary lovers while expecting to have a family

Taylor has been like this forever. She’s always written songs about a short flings (like Jake Gyllenhaal) being some sort of deep romance. I don’t think Matty led her on. How could he have led her on about marriage and kids in a short fling? They were together for weeks before he ghosted her.

These posts are delusional, just like Taylor is. Their relationship was never serious; it was a short fling. It’s embarrassing for Taylor that she wrote songs portraying their fling as some sort of great romance only for him to get engaged to the next girl he dated a few months later.

Wasn’t she the happiest she’d ever been with Matty? That’s basically what she said on stage, in public. I think she left Joe for Matty believing it would be more than a fling. And I can understand how devastating it would be to blow apart your life for someone who leaves you a few weeks later.

Her album states that she was fantasizing about Matty while with Joe. She seemed to fall hard for him. But he didn’t seem to reciprocate her feelings. He ghosted her after a short fling. The relationship was totally one sided.

Who knows what went down exactly. I suspect her fans, parents and PR team drove him away, and she wouldn’t defend him enough and tried to change + manage him, which upset him. Can’t say I blame him.

I don’t think it was not one sided. Matty was the first one to mouth “This is for you. You know who you are. I love you”’ to her at the start of the song About You on stage Asia. She reciprocated with Cardigan.

Matty wrote other songs about her over the years too, eg Oh Caroline, Me & You Together Song, Roadkill, Part Of The Band, etc. He was happy and sounding awesome on tour last winter and spring, and then a total wreck all summer and fall.

Yea she was ghosted by a druggie after 2 month fling.

Perfect transition fling from the long term love she had for Joe to her forever Travis.

Transition flings are fun until they aren’t but they are necessary.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but there is exactly one melancholic song about Joe and one juvenile song about Travis. The rest of the album is all Matty Healy, as are dozens of songs from her prior albums.

She should have left that relationship after 2 years max.

I think she kind of did. Illicit Affairs & Maroon paint a pretty telling picture of who she was hooking up with all those years.

You must have done pretty poorly in HS English and not good at analysis either if you can miss such obvious clues on this album.

So who do you think Fortnight, TTPD, My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys, Down Bad, But Daddy I Love Him, Fresh Out The Slammer, Guilty As Sin, I Can Fix Him, loml, I Can Do It With A Broken Heart, The Black Dog, imgonnagetyouback, Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus, How Did It End, I Look In People’s Windows are about? In addition to TSMWEL and Peter and maybe the Bolter?

Nope IA is about Joe she dated him before breaking up with Harris.

Maroon is about Jake G.

“Forever Travis”? I doubt it. They are not each other’s types. I think they are both mutually using each other. Her songs for him on the album indicated her feelings for him are akin to a superficial high school crush. Neither of his songs indicated Taylor has any deep feelings for him. I think she wanted Matty to be much more than a fling. Her songs for him indicated she had deep feelings for him. He’s the one who dumped her.

His new fiancée looks psychotic.😬

It looks like drugs. She’s actually really unattractive let’s be honest. Huge eye bags for 26. Huge Amy wine house vibes.

But Taylor Swift is 34!!!! And writes sad songs!!!

/s (I agree with you the new fiancee is ugly. As is Matty.)

Objectively speaking, so is Taylor. Just look up “young TS.” She just did a ton of plastic surgeries over the years to correct stuff: veneers, a nose job, fix the droopy eyelids, a boob job etc.

Imo, Matty is good looking. I don’t care for Gabriette’s face but she has a great, slim body.

Taylor’s fans are delusional. They think everything revolves around her. Taylor’s fan said the timing of the engagement was intentional and proof that Matty is a bitter, toxic man. Marty’s mom replied with laugh emojis. Matty is not giving any thought to Taylor. Even Marty’s family seems to think that Taylor’s deluded stans are laughable.

I don't think his mom will be laughing when he ODs.

You are a pretty awful person. That’s all. Oh, and just a reminder that karma does exist, so be careful what you put out into the world.

Yes all the other I hate him, he sucks, what a terrible person songs are about Matty.

Sad songs are about Joe, mad songs are about Matty.
