NP. There are TikTok videos that show what PP described the day they broke up. I haven’t seen any for the engagement. That said, how can we be sure it was even about Matty?
We can’t.

Matty did dedicate a few songs to Taylor in Dublin performance after they broke up. He sang some heart wrenching songs and you could feel the weight and sadness of it all. I’m sure you can find it on you tube. People who were there claimed he wore glasses to hide the fact he was crying.

Also, let’s be honest, she is not that deep, def no Bono or John Lennon, so yah, her songs are pretty much about her life. Nothing wrong with that, but they are certainly about Matty, Joe, Jake etc. and not just songs.

How is Taylor besties with one of the meanest, most shallow and self-absorbed celebs, Blake Lively, and dating an anger-prone jock? Perhaps she is a different person behind closed doors than what her immaculate PR machine has painted her out to be. That could explain why all those men over the years left her, Matty included.

I don’t agree with your entire premise but I do think she is very different behind closed doors. Otherwise I just don’t see Matty Healy wanting to date America’s pop princess. He seems to want someone edgier than that.
