And you are a grown person saying “you can’t” about something.

Taylor was just quoted saying “I can’t” about Travis yelling “Viva Las Vegas.”

If Jack Antonoff writes songs for both, how do we know he is behind their supposed song letters to each other? They both could just be going along and adding in when he doesn’t collab.

He doesn't write their songs, he advises and produces for them. And he only co-produced The 1975's latest album, not the prior ones, on which Taylor is referenced as well. Do you really think Jack wrote TTPD or Reputation for her about Matty and she had no idea? Or songs like The 1 or Illicit Affairs? Of course the lyrics are all hers.

I cannot think of any band frontmen who haven't experimented with drugs and alcohol. Unfortunately it's essentially part of the job description.
As long as it's behind him, who cares.

If he doesn’t write some of her songs why is he credited as a co-writer?

Problem is it is not behind him. Taylor is done with him. That is what the record is about.

You can watch her documentary Miss Americana to see how they came up with the lyrics to Getaway Car for example. They sit together and bounce ideas off of each other, but it is very much a collaboration.
Did Jack Antonoff also whisper in her ear piece last spring to tell the audience in her Boston concert that she has never been as happy and never felt so complete as in that moment? That was the week she finally went public with Matty.

I love me some Matty, but I really don't think they were an item. And she can do better.

But if they were, she should have known better. Seriously. How would this have lasted.

You can run in circles and not answer a question, but it won’t change that Jack co-wrote many of her songs. Thankfully Taylor is a better person and actually gives Jack the credit he’s due.

They did have a brief fling. I don’t think that’s really debatable. But it’s not a multi year secret obsession that the fan girls think it is.

Will the "tattooed golden retriever" please stand up?

Taylor Swift doesn't talk about her personal life; she sings about it.

In Down Bad she predicts fans will be shocked about her romance with Healy.

The most compelling evidence that the song is about Healy is the line,
"They’ll say I’m nuts if I talk about the existence of you."

"They don’t know how you’ve haunted me so stunningly," she says, meaning to me that she has a history with the subject. In "Guilty as Sin?" her romance with Healy just started, but she hints at having feelings for him for years.

There is a guy who apparently makes a living as a singer named Jordy. I want to throw up every time I hear it.

loml song is definitely the song written about their breakup.

"If you know it in one glimpse, it’s legendary / You and I go from one kiss to getting married” portrays how she fell hard and fast but it was over abruptly (Healy, not Joe)

At the end of the track, "loml" now has a new meaning: "the loss of my life."

Girl, are you for real? Listen to Reputation for example. A Matty Healy coded album. Don’t Blame my drug is my baby, love made me crazy, if it doesn’t you ain’t doing it right. Or his song Oh Caroline, you are always on my mind that he wrote for her. They both have been obsessing for years. He is in dozens of her songs across at least 6 albums, but possibly 1989 too. One of them would write a song, the other would respond with coded lyrics or a music video that gave them nods. She wrote, “You taught me a secret language I can’t speak with anyone else”, referring to this back and forth creative inspiration, longing & lust they had going on for years. And most likely she saw him secretly on many occasions as alluded to in songs like Illicit Affairs and many others.
