Red was written well before she met Matty.

...it's only about two years off from when the public saw them attending concerts together. They were probably dating before then if you listen to her songs she hints at it in illicit affairs.

Most of Matty's hit 1975 songs weren’t written about Taylor, but he had dedicated quite a few to her over the years.

She's American is likely about Halsey, not TS, but while MH and TS were together he played this at a show and right before it he said "she sure is"

Me & You Together Song=M&Y TS This one seems more about TS. "I fell in love with her in stages", "I had this dream where we had kids"

About You is THE 1975 song about Taylor. "This is about you. You know who you are You know. I love you" before MH played it, "We'll get married in our heads", "Do you think I have forgotten about you?

I wonder why Matty Healy isn’t given even 1/10 of the grief for writing about Taylor and his other exes for years as Taylor is for writing about him and her other exes.

Taylor once said she only writes negative songs about people she never intends to see again. After "loml" and "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived" I don't see that happening. And if Matty wanted to be with her, he would be.

IDK Matty seems like someone who genuinely doesn't care how he's perceived by strangers & I think this whole past year has been Taylor's way of signaling to him that she no longer cares as well.

mr perfectly fine was our surprise song night one in pittsburgh. i loved the added sass she put in the final verse that night. it wasn’t written for him but i’d bet money that she was thinking about him during that performance.

Yes. It’s a well known fact to their crossover fans, of which apparently there are plenty. She is more prolific than him, but still.
In 50 years when it’s “all declassified”, people will be shocked to find out how much of her discography is actually about Matty.
